Students will be introduced to the Table Top Paragraph and how to make their own through the class creating one. Students will create their own paragraph, following the Table Top Paragraph template. AssignmentStudents will read from a book for AR for the first ten minutes of class, to Students will recite in class the mandatory poem and the extra credit poem, How Doth the Little Crocodile by Lewis Carroll and I'm Nobody by Emily Dickinson. Introduction to the Table Top Paragraph. The class creates a paragraph as an example: using a topic chosen from the class, students will write, as a class, an example paragraph. Then, students will take Table Top Paragraph organizer and write a paragraph of their own, on a topic that interests them, that is school appropriate, and can be used to write a five paragraph essay.
