1. How important menu planning in catering services?
Menu planning is an important task because it saves time and money,
promotes healthier choices, improves grocery shopping skills, and
keeps meal times fresh with variety.

2. Is facilities in catering services be important? Why?


Yes, because the business cannot be run properly without proper
facilities and tools. Catering services also needs the tools. The
catering facility and equipment is important for the functioning of the
business. The food cannot be prepared in time and full of flavor if
there is a lack of quality equipment. The catering service can only be
efficient if the facility functions efficiently. The equipment for
commercial use is more essential. The commercial equipment should
be equipped to deal with heavy duty food preparation. Everything
needs to be perfect and on time while catering business is being run.
Running a catering services can be made easier and fun if the catering
equipment is of the best quality.

3. What do you think is the first thing to do in your event like catering
function?
When you’re planning a catered event, there are many factors that determine
whether your event will be successful or an evening of the same old boring
food and drinks. Once you’ve planned your event by choosing the day,
inviting the guests, and choosing a venue, now comes the tricky part –
planning the food and beverages for this catered event. Whether you’re a
first-time event planner and events manager or an old hand at putting
together catered menu events, it’s important to consider every step to ensure
excellent service, food, and beverages. The first thing to do in the event like
catering function is “Who is on your Guest List”.
 The guest list for a catered event can range from a small
gathering of friends to a large gathering of professional
business people. Knowing what type of event and who is
attending is the first step to a successful catering event. What is
the makeup of the guests invited to the event? Many business
people attend a lot of conferences and social events throughout
the year and get tired of eating the same old mediocre food. In
order to have your catered event stand out, consider the
following when planning the menu with your caterer:

 How formal or informal will the event be?


 How often do your guests attend events like the one you’re
planning?
 Are your guests coming in from out of town or are they based
locally?
 What is the ethnic makeup of your guests and their
backgrounds?

The people I want to serve are the people who wants my services.

2. What type of food and services you can provide?


The type of food and services that I can provide is catering service because
everyone remembers the food for better or for worse. Serving fresh, high-
quality items is something your guests will enjoy and appreciate, which is
why finding the right caterer is essential. For an event to run successfully,
you need a menu that will appease even the most discerning palates. That’s
why having a menu with a wide range of tastes and flavors is necessary. You
should also offer a variety of options for beverages as well as vegetarians so
that no one is left disappointed by the selection.
3. Can you Handle stress and pressure?
Yes, I can handle stress and pressure.
4. Do you have enough capital for a catering service? If not, what is your future
plan that you can apply your knowledge about catering?
No, my future plan and my dream is to build a catering business because this
is in line in my course which is hospitality management. If I would given a
chance to have a catering service, I would be able to apply my knowledge
and expertise by running the business. Aside from that, I would be able to
help people needs my services and to ensure that the catering goes smoothly.
And the last thing is to have to spend the entire time running around
coordinating the food, serving it, and cleaning up afterwards.

5. Do you want to work from home or rent a space or establish your own
catering business?
I prefer that I would establish my own catering business because it is very
accessible to the customer if you have your own office in the city or any
location wherein very convenient to the customer or guest.
