UNIFORMS

As you can see, I am wearing our school uniform and I feel proud to be a student of
Thanh Thuy Secondary School. For the time being, uniforms seem to become an
indispensable part in almost all schools but some students seem uncomfortable  wearing
the uniform. In my opinion, when students learn about the benefits of uniforms. They will
change their mind so Why do we have to wear uniforms? Firstly, wearing uniforms
prevents kids from distinguishing between rich and poor.That will create an equal
learning environment as poor families can’t afford expensive clothes so uniform is the
best choice . In addition, wearing school uniform is regarded as a way to maintain our
schools’ traditions. Also some students spend way too much time shopping for clothes
and obsessing about what to wear everymorning . Last but not least, Wearing uniforms
expresses our respect for our peers and teachers because nowadays many young people
dress inappropriately that causes discomfort to everyone .In conclusion, the uniform is
more than just a pair of clothes we wear to school; it represents pride and growth for
all students. All the things I mentioned above prove that it is a good idea for schools to
require uniforms. After this speech, I hope the students here will have a different view
of the uniform shirt they are putting on.
CITY
Nowadays, The majority of the population prefer living in a big town mainly because
of the great advantages it has compared to living in the countryside. However, what are
the benefits of this situation, and what are the drawbacks? In this speech, I will explore
the pros and cons of living in a large city and try to draw some conclusions. /

Let’s start with the advantages. One of the main positives of a big town is  well-known
universities, schools at the international level, or other high-quality educational centers
located in metropolitan zones so citizens can increase their knowledge level./
Secondly, living in a big town is a big chance for entertainmemt and health care., for
example, there are so many things to do like going to the cinema, to the theatre or to the
park especially when you have illness, you will be cared by skillful doctors./ In my
opinion, the reason for why most people tend to live in a city is the vast opportunities of
jobs. People have much more employment that means they will earn more money. /
 
Turning to the other side of the argument, City dwellers may be confronted
with various problems./  The first matter can be high population density in urban areas
may cause overcrowding.there is also traffic jam during rush hours. /Together with
thousands of tons of daily emissions. there may be a deterioration in the quality of air
and water; consequently, /health conditions are likely to be threatened.
Personally, I believe that the benefits of enjoying the city-life, eventually overweigh the
negatives./
