Crime branch

Acknowledgement
I hereby express my sincere gratitude towards the assistant
commissioner of police and other Crime Branch offices for
providing me an opportunity to do my internship there.

Day 1
I was assigned under the guidance of an officer Anil Sir, who
gave me an basic idea about the office and the way thay
were appointed.

Day 2
On the second day, I was allotted with and work to do to
collect the information related to the investigation.

Day 3
We were studied the working of the office and their role in
maintaining law and order.

Day 4
We have observed different types of records they kept like
case diary and the method used by them in Crime
Investigation.

Day 5
A session was taken by Zakir sir on the important provisions
under CRPC of IPC
and procedure in the arresting a person and shared lots of
experience in the service.

Day 6
Studied different cases registered in crime branch and helped
them in entering the data in this system.

Day 7
On the seventh day another session was taken by a Lady
officer on the posco act 2012, the protection of women from
domestic violence act 2005, dowry prohibition act 1961, and
some cases related to this act were discussed also she
pointed out the misuse of this act by the women.

Day 8
On our internship period we met some forensic students in
the same office, this made us clear about forensic evidence in
the Crime scene.
Day 9
The officer discussed about the privileges of tribal community
and their cases were investigated by higher officers.

Day 10&11
The case files were given to the officer and the doubts were
made and clarified by the officer. and the officer shared his
experience in dealing with these cases in his service.

Day 12
Helped the officer in entering the data and for arranging the
files.
