In most cases, most nursing home residents will live the rest of their lives in the
facility. It is essential to make it feel like the clients are in the comfort of their homes
through providing the appropriate care that they need.
Both videos presented the residential healthcare facility in both countries. Here are
key points from the two videos.

Aging adults need to cope with the changes happening in their lives by seeking
help to meet their needs. One of the options is to stay in a nursing home care facility
that caters to all of their necessities.
In the Philippines, I think what is lacking is not just in the gerontological health care
system. Still, the overall healthcare system lacks resources, financial instability, low-
quality services delivery due to less staffing. Improvement of these lacks increases’
quality care services and is achievable through developing aged care quality
standards as the Australian government did. Developing and implementing this can
be very challenging for a third-world country.
