including money in mathematical problems and real-life situations.

Objectives
 Knowledge Understand the different strategies in addition.
 Skills adds mentally the following numbers using appropriate strategies:
a. 1- to 2-digit numbers with sums up to 50
b. 3-digit numbers and 1-digit numbers
c. three -digit numbers and tens (multiples of 10 up to 90)
d. 3-digit numbers and hundreds (multiples of 100 up to 900)
 Attitude Appreciate the importance of addition.

2. Sa kaarawan ni Leo, ibinili siya ng 45 na pulang lobo, 33 na asul na lobo, at 71 na berdeng
lobo. Ilan lahat ang kanyang lobo?
3. Si Nena ay may 142 na pulang butones, 132 na putting butones, at 505 na asul na butones.
Ilan lahat ang butones ni Nena?

Php. 355.00 at ang asul na pantalon ay Php. 424.00. Magkano kaya ang kabuuan
ng kanyang binili?

Upang malutas ang suliranin na ito, gumamit ng estratehiyang expanded form o


pagpapalawak.

Ang kabuuang halaga ng dalawang pantalon ay Php. 779.00.

Tandaan:

*Alamin kung ano ang hinahanap.

*Hanapin ang word.

*Pagsamahin muna ang mga digits sa isang pangkat sunod ang sampuan hanggang
isangdaang pangkat.

*Pangkatin muli kung kinakailangan tulad ng halimbawa.

Maari ka pang gumamit ng ibang estratehiya sa pag lutas ng suliranin, tulad ng


picture model o drawing. Kung alam mo na ang suliranin, gumamit ng estratehiya na
sa tingin mo ay angkop sa suliranin.

E. Valuing: Finding Panuto: Sagutin ang suliranin sa inyong kwaderno.

G. Assessment Panuto: Unawain ang mga suliranin. Isulat ang sagot sa iyong kwaderno.

1. Si Ruben ay may anim na Php 10.00, isang Php 20.00, at tatlong Php 1.00.
Magkano kaya lahat ang kanyang pera?

2. Bumili si Pedro ng hamburger sa halagang Php 35.00, at lemon juice sa halagang


Php 16.00. Magkano kaya ang kailangan nyang halaga para mabili ito?

3. Si Ella ay Php 40.00 na baon. Si Mina naman ay may baon na higit ng Php 15.00
kay Ella. Magkano kaya ang pera ni Mina? Magkano kaya ang pera ng dalawang
bata?
