1 The Writer's Arguments Summary With Statistical Evidence Support
The writer ensures the comprehension of the pandemic transmission process by crystal analyzing
the incubation period, the rate of transmission, and the features of multiple-generation
transmission. The writer statistically employs the statistical aspect by selecting a population
sample of 9120 cases from mainland China. The Covid-19 challenge has forced various sectors
of the globe such as education to shift their mode of operation(Almaiah, Khasawneh, and
Althunibat, 2020). He argues that the time it takes between when an individual is exposed to the
pandemic to the time the symptoms appear has descriptive statistics of the mean of 7.83, the
median of 7, and a mode of 5 days. Based upon the calculated probability to evaluate the
possibility that the incubation period shall take more than 14 days, the Pr(Incubation period> 14
days)=0.125, n the data and methods section of the article. As the data is collected from the mass
media, there were conclusions drew where the results indicated that to reduce the secondary
transmission, there is need to reduce the scale of contact among the people. The conclusion of
the writer has indicated on the tracking of the primary infections which is efficient in reducing
the rate of the disiease transmission, which in theory, it reduces spread of the disease
exponentially.
The has presented the majority of his arguments using statistical techniques. Statistics is a branch
of maths dealing with the process of collecting, organizing, assessing, presenting, and
interpreting data that is under study. The writer has employed various probability distributions
such as the Weibull and the Poisson along the graphs for the visualization of his arguments. The
statistics employed in the research presents the data in a way that makes meaning, eases the
capacity to make conclusion and comparison, presents the data in a clear way(graphs and
summary tables), and collect the appropriate data(sampling methods).

Figure 1 Scatter Plot Of A Scale Of Close Contact Events Against The Rate Of Transmission
The writer has composed most of the arguments under statistical proof. Terms such as median,
mode, mean, and probability distributions have been used primarily in the article. The sample
size used in the research is not quite efficient to determine the transmision rate which in other
sources have proved to be higher. This can be explained through the exponentiality of transision
in other countries where there were no lockdowns to curb transmission of the virus(Salian et al.,
2021). The understanding of the article is only limited to an individual and can only be
understood by persons with statistical knowledge only. Data from the mass media may not be
efficient to trust since it can be corrupt and inaccurate(Musaeva, 2021). The research conducted
seems to be more complex than the proposed context in the introduction.
