of your proposed solutions relative to the business case. Students will also be assessed on written

You should form groups of three (3) to four (4) students and attempt both the Parts. Part A is due on
Sunday Week 11 and presentation of Part B would be in class on Week 11. You are required to submit
report on Part A only.

Part A

1: Case Study 01: (20 marks)

Prescott Dolls sells porcelain dolls exclusively at antique shows. Prescott Dolls purchases
inventory from individuals at garage sales, flea markets, antique malls, and estate sales. Each time
the owner, Dahlia Prescott, makes a purchase, she records the person's name, address, date,
specific items purchased and price paid, and total amount spent. Later at home, Dahlia cleans,
researches, and prices the inventory for sale to customers. She assigns an inventory number to
each item and records the ‘asking’ price. Dahlia buys price tags and display supplies from a
company that sells at flea markets and antique shows. All inventory and supplies purchases are
immediately paid for using cash or with company checks from a bank account in Prescott Dolls’
name. Cash received from customer sales are also deposited in this account. Three times a year,
Dahlia rents a booth at antique shows. A deposit is always required, with the balance due at the
start of the show. Dahlia records the deposit and final payment, along with the show organizer's
name and address, in the same worksheet on which she records purchases of inventory and
supplies.

Required:

Create a context diagram and a REA diagram for Prescott Dolls, related to purchasing inventory and
supplies, renting booths, and paying for all items

2: Data analysis and visualisation using Power Bi: (40 marks)

This task requires you to create a customised report with the following three pages:
a) Overview page showing sales and pretax profit by year;
b) Total assets by year
c) Income tax expense and Tax paid in cash by year

Please use the data file embedded in the assignment.

When you've completed the task the outcome will look like close to the following but not
necessarily the same. It is just for your guidance to evaluate whether you are doing it correctly or
not. Also since it is all local sales with no overseas sales so your sales by country visulisations
will look different.

For part (b) and (c) in the below image instead of sales and target by month, prepare visulisations for
Total assets and income tax vs cash tax paid by year.

Please use Microsoft Power Bi guide to understand various steps in visulisations

unless they received $1 million in cryptocurrency.

Discuss this cyberattack in the light of following headings:

1. How this attack has been perpetrated, who was/were behind the attack and what were
their motives.
2. What could be the possible consequences of this data breach on consumers?
3. How to prevent these types of attacks in future.
4. What actions should government and law enforcement agencies should take to prevent
these types of attack in future.
