What is TOS?
Technological Outreach Station has five stations:
1. Kisolon Freshwater Fish Production and Regional
Training Center (KFFPRTC)
2. Benoni Experimental Station (BES),
3. Sagay Multi-Species Hatchery (SMSH)
4. Northern Mindanao Brackishwater Aquaculture
Development and Training Center (NMBADTC)
5. Malaubang Brackishwater Fish Farm (MBFF).

Benoni Experimental Station


formerly known as “Benoni
Mussel Farm Experimental
Station” is located in Benoni,
Mahinog Camiguin. *
In 1999, the Milkfish was cultured.
Since 2000, the station has
developed milkfish broodstock.

SAGAY MULTI-SPECIES
HATCHERY (SMSH)

The station was established in November


2008 as part of the Milkfish Intensive
Program in Northern Mindanao, then
started in 2009.
It focuses on Milkfish Fry Production. *
It comprises the main building, laboratory
building, holding tanks for larval and
natural food, circular tanks, and seawater
reservoir.

In 1999, the fish farm was established


which began as a seed stock production
by the Department of Agriculture.
It aims to produce more fingerlings that
would increase production and improve
the lives of the fisher folk.
Total area: 10 hectares
-4.2 hectares production area
-4.8 hectares for facilities and additional
fishpond development. *

Formerly known as Lala Aquaculture Fish Farm.


It was established in order:
- To answer the demand for milkfish fingerlings
- To support various functions and activities
such as production of tilapia, crabs, etc.
