Octaverb Datasheet
Octaverb Datasheet
The Octaverb is a DSP based multieffect system with 10 types of reverb effects and 6 various effects divided in two
banks:
BANK A (reverbs):
1. Spring
2. Chapel
3. Gated
4. Reverse
5. Church
6. Room
7. Big Hall
8. Small Hall
Banks are selected with a toggle switch and program effects are then selected with a rotary switch. Controls for MIX
and VOLUME are also present to balance the dry vs wet signal and output level signal.
Octaverb can be powered from negative-center 9V DC power supply and draws 140mA of current when fully
operational.
BUILDING INFO
PCB version 121017 misses a 100K resistor labeled as R in the partlist. You can just solder it on bottom side of the
pcb as shown in the following image:
Pots can be mounted both on pcb that wired witch cable. If you choose to mount on pcb make sure to align so that
they are not excessively high with respect to rotary and toggle switch:
* This is a pre-programmed microcontroller, it is included inside the kit but if you aim at building the Octaverb without the kit you need to purchase the pre-
programmed ATTINY25 from our store or program one yourself.
** These parts are SMD but are preassemblied on a breakout pcb so you can solder them as usual THT parts with help of pinhead connectors. Same as
above, they are included in the kit but if you aim at building the Octaverb without the kit you need to purchase the preassemblied V1000 and V4220M from
our store or make your own custom pcbs (Eagle files are available).
