Improper Garbage Disposal

The family was unable to properly dispose of garbage due to a lack of knowledge. After nursing intervention, the family will be able to: 1) identify proper waste disposal techniques like garbage segregation and recycling; 2) identify adequate actions to maintain cleanliness; and 3) enumerate possible health problems from improper disposal. The nursing intervention plan was to assess awareness, provide education on proper disposal and recycling, and discuss the importance of proper disposal for individual and environmental health. The goal was for the family to gain knowledge and practice proper techniques.
