Overall, as people got older, the amount of money spent on food and drink increased dramatically while the figure for eating out and staying at hotels plugged. Amazingly, the demand for entertainment rose in a particular aged group and then plummeted. Almost all UK citizens who are under 30 years old spent more on restaurants and hotels, taking up 14% of the total budget. By contrast, the figure for the British aged from 61 to 75 years old was lower, at only 2%. Turning to the two other categories including food, drink and environment. About 23% of the percentage of the budget spend on food and drink in the over-76- age group while the figure for the under 30-age group was approximately 6% of total spending. The proportion of spending on entertainment was the highest in whose group aged from 61 to 75 ages, accounting for 23% of their budgets.
