Course Description This is a three unit course designed to provide criminology students with a strong foundation consisting of research
theory oriented, and inter-disciplinary approaches such that they develop their own principles and theories that may

provide consistent guidelines for their leadership, decision-making, and management actions.
Learning Outcomes At the end of this course, the students should be able to:
Cognitive:
1. Differentiate leaders, from managers and administrators.
2. Attribute vision and mission of leaders, managers and administrators.
Affective:
3. Recognize the key qualities of effective leadership using techniques and theories acquired.
4. Foster and critique leadership style management and behavior.
Psychomotor:
5. Internalize the decision making in relation to LEA, Public safety and Criminal Justice.
6. Execute various decision making styles in management and administration.
7. Design making model applicable to Criminal Justice Education.

Grading System Grading System (Sec. 10, Title 2 of Student Handbook 2019)

1. The grading system is the CARREON Method. There shall be two (2) grading periods in a regular
semester: Midterm, and Final periods. In each period, a weight of 50% for midterm and 50% for
