INFORMATION TO PARTICIPANTS

INVOLVED IN RESEARCH
Title of Study: Factor influencing consumers’ intention to revisit bubble tea stores

Objective: This research seeks to understand why consumers choose to revisit bubble tea
stores

Procedures: Should you choose to participate you will be asked to complete a short,
anonymous questionnaire. The questionnaire will take around 15 minutes to complete. The
questionnaire should be answered objectively without any pressure or fear, and should you
feel at any point that you do not wish to continue participating you are free to quit and leave
the website. This research will collect different perspectives and the findings will be reported
in academic research papers

Right to Refuse or Withdraw: Your participation in this research project is entirely voluntary.
If you do not wish to take part, you are not obliged to do so. If you do decide to take part and
later change your mind halfway through the process, you are free to withdraw from the
research project at any stage. Please note, you cannot withdraw from the research project
after you have submitted your responses due to the anonymous nature of the research.

Your decision whether you take part, do not take part, or to take part and then withdraw from
the research project, will in no way impact your current or future relationship with the
University.

Risks and Discomforts: You may feel uncomfortable sharing your opinions and perspectives.
There is no right or wrong answer. Furthermore, there are no foreseeable risks associated
with your participation in this project.

Benefits: Your participation in this research brings no direct benefits to you but has a
significant contribution to the body of knowledge in the food and beverage literature.

Compensation: There are no monetary and or any other form of incentives, gifts, and/or
compensation given to you including any form of reimbursements of expenses or rewards
associated with this study if you choose to participate in this survey.

Anonymous and Confidential Data Collection: Please be assured that your responses are
entirely anonymous and used only for academic purposes; the data collected will be kept safe
and will not be shared with any other party. Furthermore, no unique personal identification is
needed to participate in this study, thus, you can be assured of complete anonymity.

Confidentiality of records: This is an anonymous questionnaire. You are not required to


identify yourself in any manner and we will not make any attempt to identify your responses.
The questionnaire will be kept solely for the purpose of analysis. Once the research project is
completed, all information will be stored in a secure locked cabinet in the Sunway University
premises. Only the researcher and team members will have access to the data. All data will be
destroyed after five years.
