MANAGER – Production Planning Control & Logistics - REPORTING to GROUP

18001 certified company. This company manufacturing for two wheelers in 350CC,
500CC and 535CC
Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparing Master sheet for Monthly Production Plan based on marketing indent.

Preparing Model wise loading Plan for every shift.

Planning for a targeted production output per day according to the MPS plan.

Monitoring model-wise bikes roll-off (Colour mixup), Quality clearness, and hand
over to Marketing department.

Every month Production plan Vs actual detail preparing and present in the MIS
meeting.

Daily monitoring critical parts and Receipt average details.

Responsible for zero line stoppage and WIP inventory control.

Export bikes packing and dispatch monitoring.

Material MRP raising in SAP as per monthly production plan.

WIP rejection monitoring and 5S maintenance.

Key role in SAP system correction process in the following segments – BOM
creation, Back flashing, Production sequences entry, Inventory receipts, GRN
process monitoring, etc.

system to esteem customers like Hyundai, TML, MUL, FORD, Nissan, Ashok Leyland, M
& M and TAFA.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Preparing Master Production Schedule (MPS) with respect to customer requirements.

Preparing Machine wise loading Plans for the day–to–day.

Planning for a targeted production output per day according to the MPS plan

Monitoring of dispatches with respect to customer requirements

 Scheduling and follow-up for local materials such as turned parts, stamping parts &
Heat treatment parts.

Responsible to reduce customer DPM (Delivery per Million).

Responsible for zero line stoppage, inventory control, Zero premium freight.

Team member in periodic internal audit for process, product, TPM, 3C, 5S and
Quality management system.
Monitor stock levels for customers on a daily basis to ensure optimum levels while
adhering the to delivery schedule.

Achievements:

Effective FIFO implementation is done by introducing dynamic racks.

Visual kanban introduced.

Inventory reduction from 6 days to 3 days.

Effective implementation was done on the Master production Schedule system (MPS)

EXECTIVE – PPC, RANE NSK STEERING SYSTEM LTD & REPORTING TO PPC
MANAGER.

Joint venture between Rane, Guduvanchery and NSK, Japan. Rane NSK was
one of the Tier - I supplier of car and Heavy vehicle steering system. Customers like
TML, MUL, TOYOTA, FORD, NISSAN, Ashok Leyland, M&M AND EICHER
MOTORS.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in managing the production of Sub Assembly and Welding lines

Effectively handling the Manpower and giving training to the operators related to
Production, Quality and System.

Good Exposure to manufacturing shop floor practices like 3“C”, 5“S” and 3M”

Working on SMED Concept for reducing Press shop and Assembly line

To Monitor inventory on a daily basis & Right action

Analyze monthly sales and derive at production requirements

Is an Indian Based Company, Manufacturing Automotive JCB cylinder parts for

WIPRO INFRASTRUCTURE PVT LTD.

CERST CAM MANUFACTURING SYSTEM in manufacturing of automotive different

types of cylinders making. Production will be carried out in different departments like
Machine shop, welding shop and Assembly shop. We have the capacity to manufacture
1800 cylinders per day.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Productivity Improvement and achieving Monthly targets.

Periodic review of rejections trends thru B.O.C. Key charts.

Improved the production levels from 1-day inventory to 2 days inventory by

improving the productivity.

Reduced the customer line stoppages from > 20 hours to “Zero” hours.

To ensure the monthly procurement of consumable items.

Time study and work study.
