Physical Development

In paragraph form, describe the physical development of the learner. Combine the teacher’s, parent’s
response, and your observations.

- The physical development of the learner's is very rapid he is very lanky when he's in his early
high school and now he's more on lean and muscle type of body. You can't really picture out
the little boy from the present him
Social Development

In paragraph form, describe the social development of the learner. Combine the teacher’s parent’s
response, and your observations.

- Most children are highly active and rapidly associate with peers who share similar characteristics.
Especially when a child is surrounded by people his or her own age. Students at that age are not
particular about their friends since what matters to them is that they currently have playmates.
A child will follow you if they believe you are happy and comfortable with them. In the early year
the learner is very shy according to his mother but when he reaches his high school period, he
became more outgoing and a friendly person, a great shift to his personality.
Emotional-Moral Development

In paragraph form, describe the emotional-Moral development of the learner. Combine the teacher’s
parent’s response, and your observations.

- Emotional regulation is another term for understanding and controlling emotions and it is an
essential component of your child's self-regulation. Children encounter little challenges, such as
failing a test at school, which they may see as a failure. It is critical for a teacher and a parent to
validate a child's feelings in order for them to feel profoundly understood even their most
irrational thoughts and wishes. It also lends voice to their feelings, allowing them to work through
all of their confused feelings, which is especially important during the toddler years. The learner's
emotional quotient is very high he never admitted to his mother any problem that he faces, he
usually kept to himself and solve the problem without being a burden to others.
Cognitive Development

In paragraph form, describe the cognitive development of the learner. Combine the teacher’s
parent’s response, and your observations.

- I believe that each child's development is unique and has its own timetable. Though children
develop in a generally predictable sequence of phases, we cannot forecast when a child will reach
each stage. What I've noticed is that a child's physical development begins at home, and when
parents invest time in their child's education, those youngsters bring that attitude to the
classroom. Sometimes a child's growth is determined by how attentive parents are to their child,
and as a consequence, there are children who are difficult to capture and there are students that
easy to learn but you can tell by their expression that they are really interested and want to learn.
The learner's capacity of learning is dependent on his environment he can make very good
progress when he is given assistance and can also keep up with his peers without some help.
Findings

Write here your salient findings about the learner

- Aside from their genetic make-up, their birth order in the family has a significant impact on the
sort of person they will become.
- The learner has big development in his overall learning he is more outgoing, active in school and
know his passion not only on the characteristics but also in physical he matures and changed his
temperament into a higher school student.
- Disagreements over family resources and parental attention have a significant role in the
formation of diverse personalities.
- How a parents treat and support them, whether the child is encouraged to learn, ignored, or
prevented from learning due to over-protection can affect different phase of development.
- The home environment serves as a foundation for learning and is a factor in a student's life that
might affect grades.
- Sometimes a child's growth is determined by how attentive parents are to their child, and as a
consequence, there are children who are difficult to capture and there are students that easy to
learn but you can tell by their expression that they are really interested and want to learn.

Conclusions

Write your conclusions after you analyzed the impact of the school and the home on the learner’s
development. The questions in the Your Analysis portion of this learning Episode can help you.

- In conclusion, the home environment serves as a foundation for learning and is a factor in a student's
life that might affect grades. Home learning possibilities such as parents reading to their children, one-on-
one instruction, and tools encouraging letter and number play, all had a beneficial influence on
educational performance. In addition to the opportunity provided by the instructor to its students at
school. Parents and teachers are responsible for ensuring that their children are well-fed, well-rested,
joyful, and learn. When a parent and teacher establish a healthy physical and mental environment in the
home and school, it enables pupils to be ready and prepared to learn. When both parents and instructors
explicitly communicate their expectations for student achievement, a student's learning success
increases.

B. Analyze

1. From your home visit and interview, what do you think is the style of parenting
experienced by the learner? Explain your answer.

- I think, the permissive Parenting experienced by the learner during my home visit and interview.
This style of parenting can be tolerant at times, and they usually only intervene when there is a
significant problem. Parents' guide their children through positive reinforcement and logic rather
than threats or punishments. Learner experience is very lax the way they all treat their children
in an easygoing manner they are free to do what they want but they would just set some
limitations. The parents consider their child's feelings when imposing and making those
restrictions. They make time to talk about it with them so that they can understand.

2. Relating your data with what you learned from child development, what family factors
do you think contribute to the development and over-all adjustment of the learner in
school?
- According to the data, family plays a significant role in the development of children. A child who
grew up with an attentive and supportive parent is more likely to succeed because they are led
along the way. I believe it is the ideal method to impose rules while allowing your child to discern
between what is appropriate and what is not. As parents, we must fulfill our responsibilities to
our children, particularly in terms of their basic necessities, finances, and academics. Because
what kids have at home influences their success at school. Nurturing a child starts from the early
stage to the late stage and this stages all present in the house they can control the outcome and
influence they have on the child preference and perspective in life they should have a perfect
combination of a lenient and strict teaching.
3. Does the communication between the home-school have an effect on the learner? If
yes, what are these effects?
- Yes, Effective communication contributes to the development of a respectful connection
between instructors, parents, and students. More active parents in their child's schooling can aid
increase academic success. Teachers may give parents with information on school activities and
classroom volunteer opportunities when teachers and parents interact often, which helps
parents better understand their child's progress, such as what topics they will be learning and
how various skills will be improved. Allowing the kid to take an active role in their own education
ensures that all parties involved are on the same page. It also instills in the youngster a desire to
expand their knowledge and skill set. It teaches kids the value of cooperating and utilizing
resources form other people knowledge to develop their own. Definitely they affect the student
because they'll definitely do good in school knowing that the teachers might tell their school
performance to their parents.
4. How can the teacher partner with the community to contribute to the development and
learning of the student? Who are the people or which institutions can the teacher tap to
seek advice regarding the development and learning of students?

• It is very important for a teacher to collaborate with the community especially to the development
of the learning for the students since teachers are in charge of establishing the curriculum and
implementing it in the classroom. They design, create, guide, write, and alter the curriculum to fit
the learners' skills, the school's characteristics, and the school's environment, while also taking
their own expertise into consideration. the people or which institutions can the teacher tap to
seek advice regarding the development and learning of students are administrators/head of
schools since they monitor curriculum implementation, such as the acquisition of required
equipment and materials for optimal learning. They are very active in and concerned about, the
curriculum given in their schools and how it is implemented. As a basis, school administrators are
responsible for making final decisions on the mission and goals of the school. Also, parents and
community members. Since parents are occasionally involved in curriculum implementation as
stakeholders and supporters, especially because they are the ones who pay for their children's
education as well as community members, they are also the ones who donate when there is a
shortage in the schools. Their money was donated that was used in some way in school events,
such as prizes, designs, and food where the students can all participate in events with no worries.
Lastly, these two governments entities have obligatory and regulatory authority over curriculum
implementation. The DepEd (Basic Education curriculum) and the CHED (are in charge of the
university and graduate education curricula). The teachers and school official can form a
partnership to have a productive and effective learner they can have a firsthand experience and
they can seek helps to a barangay official if they have students to make a home visitation.

C. Reflect

1. Reflect on your own development as a child. What type of parenting did you experience?
How did it affect you?
I grew from a Permissive Parenting. My folks don't hand out punishments too often. There are few
rules in the house, and we don't often get much education, care, or parental attention. Hence, my
kind of parenting is very lax, easygoing and lenient; they have never been strict. On the plus side, you
can do whatever you want and follow your heart; as a result, I've learned a lot about life and seen
things that have served as lessons. On the downside, they are so lax that they rarely pay attention to
me and don't often consult me, I was unable to define my own aspirations and path to pursue since
I was preoccupied with whatever that a parent should do. I grew up with low self-esteem and am still
working on it but I think, this is their way of developing me as a person.

2. As a future, how would you establish good home-school collaboration? How can you work well
with the parents? How can you help them? How can they help you?
- As a future educator, it is critical to create solid working relationships with parents since they are
the ones who are constantly present in a child learning. As a result of this situation, I always
have time to ask questions and monitor the child's progress at home via group chat or by visiting
each household. As a child who grew up in a less-than-ideal learning environment, I don't want
my students to get the same impression hence I want them to be surrounded by wonderful
parenting, accompanied by their parents, and achieve good academic success. We can create the
same road of success for their child through teamwork. I can help the parents in supervising,
lecturing, and encouraging pupils to learn during our school hours, while they assist me in keeping
those things at home. Knowing the child's situation is important because it enables you to
imagine their lifestyle. As a teacher, you can then create a plan for being more approachable and
accommodating with the parents. Avoid creating a hierarchy between you and the parents;
instead, treat them as a team and a partner in the development of the child.
