III. Procedure
A. Preparation
Let the pupils count off to check the number of boys and girls present. Numeracy
Song:

B. Preliminary Activities: Prereading Activities


1. Drill: Ask the pupils to arrange the scrambled letters to form a word, then
let them read the formed words. (Literacy)
gpakutol – pagkutlo (pick)
nahuhuna-hunahuna (thought)
pasamamalaton- mapasalamaton (thankful)
donusgap- pagsunod (obeying)
2. Motivation: What signs do you have seen around your community or
school?
Do you obey these signs? Why?

C. Developmental Activities: During Reading


A. Introduction: Motive Question: What questions come to mind as we read
the story today ?

B. Teaching/Modelling- Read the story first for model reading.


(Use the steps in CLOSE READING)
First Reading: The teacher reads aloud.

C. Guided Practice:
Pair and share – Tubaga ang pangutana base sa ebidensiya
nga mabasa sa teksto: Unsa ang gustong buhaton ni Mila?
Asa siya muadto?
Kinsa Iyang magtutudlo?
Kanus-a niya gibati ang kasubo?
Second Reading: The teacher reads aloud.
Let the pupils underline the sentences from the story that talk about
what Mila do.

Third Reading: The teacher reads aloud. -After Reading


Let the pupils write questions based on the story using Who, Where,
When, and What. How many questions did you make? -Numeracy
What do call the words that are used to ask questions? Why do we
need to use interrogative pronouns? – HOTS

- Explain the different interrogative pronouns

- Ask the selected pupils to pick a piece of paper in the box and complete
each sentence.

Basaha ang parapo. Isulat sa papel ang imong ang mga pangutana nga nahunahunaan samtang gibasa
ang parapo. Isulat usab ang tubag niini.

Martes kadto sa hapon, gilabay ni Tina ang iyang bag sa lingkoranan, gilabyan ang
iyang ginikanan, gibundak ang pultahan sa iyang lawak ug gibundak ang iyang
kaugalingon sa higdaanan kay nag-away sila sa iyang higala.
