Compute and the Age of Information

In the contemporary history, the major highlights of the information era were the
introduction of modern computers and the internet. Aside from the general focus on
information accumulation, this era also emphasized the importance of using such
information to generate new ideas and concepts. The invention of the computer from the
early system of calculation of Charles Babbage in 1812 significantly made an impact.
On how the world progressed in the age of technology, this led to more technological
innovations, thereby transforming the landscape of society to become centered of new
digital industries.
Times have changed and it is evident in today’s kindergartens where some children are
being educated through iPods rather than chalkboards. One of the greatest influencers
that technology has on our adolescent lives other than for entertainment purposes is the
learning factor it possesses. In schools that allow word document other than notebooks, it
has definitely lightened their loads.
With your YouTube being the second most used search engine available in the world, it
not only delivers hilarious entertainment but it is also a man supplier of short
documentaries and informative programs. Information technology has altered the way
students are being taught. It has transformed countless hours studying from a book into
online, interactive websites accessible whenever the help is required. ICT has delved into
the basics of image editing and digitally enhancing a photo to change the overall
appearance of a selected image.
Technology has not only benefitted our learnings system styles, techniques, and the
quality of work but the convenience in which help is always readily available in some
ways, shape, or form.
On Education, it has open up a whole learning environment. Knowledge can easily be
processed with the help of internet technology now, and it is easier to help children with
special needs as well. Distance learning has become easier, and this is led to rise and the
literacy rate of the nation. E-learning and On-line education has made it very simple and
systematic to secure knowledge.
Personalized learning has come to the fore. Students can pick their own curriculum
with ease. Immediate response to queries and tests has made education the whole
education process a lot faster and more efficient. The use of computers in the classroom
has open up a whole new method of teaching and effectual learning.
Business has become more profitable with the help of various advance machines and
this has led to arise in the standard of living of the people. Company accounts and
costumer record can be easily stored and accessed, and this increase the market
