A sentence expresses a complete thought. A simple sentence has a
subject and a verb, and often (but not always) an object.

USING TRANSITION WORDS TO ADD IDEAS
Transition words connect words or sentences. Using them correctly
helps your writing flow more smoothly. One common type of
transition word is for adding information. Notice the position of
the transition words and, too, also, and in addition, as well as the
punctuation in these examples:
Adventure travelers like excitement and even a little danger in their
travels.
Backpackers stay in youth hostels. They offen use public
transportation, too.
Weekend travelers love to travel. They also know how to make the
most of their weekends.
Luxury travelers travel in first class. In addition, they often want

BOTH AND NEITHER
We use both and neither to talk about two things.
With both + noun, the noun is plural. With neither + noun, the noun is
singular.
Both tours are inexpensive. Neither tour is expensive.
When we use both / neither + of + plural noun, you need to include
«a determiner like the / these / those / my / your, etc. before the
noun. A singular verb stil follows neither.

A singular subject takes a singular verb, and a plural subject takes a
plural verb. Study these rules to help your subjects and verbs agree.
