Quick Start Workbook For BDSM
Quick Start Workbook For BDSM
Action Plan
#2. LIMITS
Write about ideas for a BDSM contract with your potential partner and
yourself. Include your hard and soft limits. Write about your
expectations for a relationship, what you need, and what you want.
Write your thoughts and goals around whether or not the dynamic you
want is just in the bedroom, on weekends, or full-time. Long distance
Dom/sub relationships can still be 24/7 through text or other online
means.
#4. SAFEWORDS
Write all your potential safewords and decide on what to use. Remember:
one word for when the submissive is at their limit, and a second for when
all activity of the Dominant needs to stop immediately. Journal about
possible situations when the safewords might be used.
#5. AFTERCARE
Aftercare is vital after a scene when a sub can “drop” emotionally and
mentally. It combines caring for their needs and giving them
reassurance. Record below your ideas, goals, wants, and needs for
aftercare.
#6. RITUALS
Write about what routines you will put in place to keep both you and
your potential partner grounded in your role. Rituals can also be chosen
by the Dom for their pleasure.
#7. BONDAGE
Bondage uses ropes, ties, and other restraints to remind the sub who is
ultimately in control of their body. It can also create anticipation and
greatly increase arousal. Record below your ideas, goals, wants, and
needs for bondage.
