transformer is 100 % efficient.

4. A step-up transformer has a potential difference of 30 V across its primary coil and
230 V across its secondary coil. What current would be needed on the primary coil to
produce a power output of 100 W? Assume the transformer is 100 % efficient.

circuit for a transformer plugged into the mains with an output potential difference
of 400 V and an output current of 5 A? Assume the transformer is 100 % efficient.

6. A transformer has 2000 turns on its primary coil and 400 turns on its secondary coil.
The output potential difference is 40 V. What current is needed to produce a power
output of 500 W?

transformer is 100 % efficient. 13 A

4. A step-up transformer has a potential difference of 30 V across its primary coil and
230 V across its secondary coil. What current would be needed on the primary coil to
produce a power output of 100 W? Assume the transformer is 100 % efficient. 3.3 A

The output potential difference is 40 V. What current is needed to produce a power
output of 500 W? Vp = 200 V so Ip = 2.5 A
