2. Motivation:
Have you experienced that soe of the words that you are
looking for are not in the dictionary that you have?
3. Presentation/ Discussion:
Definition Clues
The meaing of the unfamiliar word is directly defined or
given in the sentence itself.
Examples:
1. Its emacination, that is, its skeleton –like
appearance , was frightening to see.
2. The ancient Chinese used the abacus, a device with
movable beads that can be used as a calculator.
Example:
1. Celestial bodies, including the sun , moon, and star, have
fascinated man through the centuries.
Activity 2:

in your English activity notebook.
