INTRODUCTION / PROLOGUE.

Pauline thoughts in some extend it called as Pauline theology

 It’s a frame it enhances with the idea, thoughts, philosophy, and theology of a person.

 How the theology is developed?

Theology is developed through us

Theology is developed through our belief and through our doctrine

 Three ways the Pauline thoughts is dealing

 Prologue

 Dialogue

 Epilogue

Particularly the Pauline thoughts Giving or contain the message of apostle, and the message

is Christo- centric

Under the Christo- centric what are the tools are connected

Anthropology

Pneumatology

Eschatology

Soteriology

He is presenting to the people with the message of Christo centric

God thought-

Christ thought – to give salvation / saver the people

Background of the Paul

Paul was known for many years as the Saul of tarsus, he was born of Jewish parents in

the city of tarsus Cilicia he was not only Jew nut also by his own testimony he was PHA

Acts 23:6, he was Hebrew of Hebrews he was the tribe of Benjamin phil.3: 4, 5.

And had evidently build out the tribe of tent making as youth Acts.18:3

Education - Paul evidently at his young age went to Jerusalem and according to his

testimony he studied under the well-known teacher Gammallian a noted teacher

Acts. 22:3 in his study he had advance in the religion of Jews beyond many of his fellows as

one extremely jealous for his and central tradition Gal.1:14. He uses to speak, Hebrew,

Aramaic. Paul was also Greek by culture have evidently received a Greek education

Acts17:28; Titus 1:12. He shows abidance with Greek culture and their thinking as such

student he was familiar with many of the saint classical and contemporary writers.

Zeal for his religion [Persecutor]:-

Paul his jealous and his zeal for his religious as a Jew was carried into the way he jealously

shouted and persecuted to the churches as a young Pharisees he was present when Stephen

was stoned and murdered Acts.7:58-83.

In his thought /he always against to Christina both men and women he troubled with the

letters of the arrest from the high priest and went to other the city to destroy the church of the

Christ Acts.26:10-11 Gal1:13 it was on one of this mission that Saul was converted while on

the road of Damascus in addition to that Paul was the roman citizen

Consequently Paul was uniquely qualified to be the one chosen to carry the message of

Gospel to the gentiles Paul could easily say I am easily (1 cori.9:22)

The story is recorded in the book of Acts 9, 3 days he was not able to eat, look , And God

spoke to the servant called Ananias, Paul means Small / little , Saul was his nick name ,

There are 3 reasons that Paul is to be called as Apostle

Barnabas and Paul they entered to the Antioch in synagogue to the Jewish people.

 Second missionary Journey. Acts 15 – they move forward to the Philippine, Thessalonian ,

Antioch and Athens they establish the church

 Third missionary Journey. Acts. 18:23 - 21.

Paul has close relationship with the Rome emperor Nero. And from there also Paul was home

prisoned. .

An Apostolic ministry of Paul

Apostolic ministry – 3 ways of ministry

1. Apostleship / dignity of title – the title Apostles (Many more than one) and

Apostle (literal definition- Eye witness- Acts.1:22; they are chosen one

Acts.1:23-26; literal sense they have seen the resurrection of the Christ.)

Gal.1:11-18 –Paul called by God. Acts.9:3, 15. The word Office has been

discovered 20 times in different times in the occasions

Defined writing he wrote letters and letter. In N.T Out of 27 books 21 books are

considered as the Epistles because these books are written by the Apostles. In

O.T Mosses he wrote 5 books and it’s the highest in the O.T

Epistle (in the old format people used as the Letter) and letters Differences: - they

are equal no differences in it
