contributions. If available via the web, including their personal goals and aspirations in life.

Henry Sy has continued to uphold the ancient Confucian principles

of diligence, thrift, discipline, love of learning, self-sacrifice for the
prosperity of the family, and peaceful interpersonal connections.
Over the years, he transformed ShoeMart into SM Investments, one
of the biggest conglomerates in the Philippines with 49 SM malls, 62
department stores, 56 supermarkets, and more than 200 grocery
stores. Henry Sy first concentrated on trading shoes, which caused
him to find a local supplier (Philippine produced) and investigate
importing shoes in order to keep up with the supply and demand
HENRY SY chain.
Socorro Ramos keeps her head down and attributes her success to
her morals. She keeps a close eye on the commercial environment.
According to her, successful businesspeople must keep this in mind
and have an open mind since there is always something new to
learn. Socorro Ramos had the idea to create a line of greeting cards
and postcards using images and artwork from the Philippines in the
1950s. It promoted Filipino culture to the rest of the globe by
developing a distinctive design. Later, the business bought the
national Hallmark Cards franchise. The mission of Socorro Ramos is
to provide clients with resources that advance their knowledge and
SOCORRO RAMOS abilities in order to assure their success. Everything is focused on
achieving this goal.
As a renowned inventor and businessman with a humble approach
to doing business, Mariano Que was a modest individual who
detested the spotlight. Mariano Que created the Mercury Drug
Corporation, which would go on to prosper, from the rubble left
behind by World War II. On March 1, 1945, he inaugurated the first
Mercury Drug shop in Manila, Philippines. Mariano Que wants to sell
genuine, not-yet-expired medication in contrast to other vendors.
