Materials: Student Activity Sheets (SASs), Pencil and Paper, gadget for online meeting

Main lesson
(Content Notes): This course deals with the legal bases of NSTP and its program components such
as CWTS, ROTC and LTS. It prepares the students as partners for community
(20 mins.) development in terms of community assessment, crime prevention, community
preparedness during calamity, health and environmental education. The course also
includes Students Success Program (SSP), specialized program under PHINMA
Education Network, to equip students to succeed in their studies to better serve their
communities. 
While the focus of the ROTC component is to prepare students for possible
service in the defense establishment in the event of emergency as enlisted reservists,
CWTS, on the other hand, focuses on preparing the students to serve the community
in the following areas: Literacy, Health, Entrepreneurship, Environmental, and
Socio-Cultural. 

Course Requirements 
● Participation in all activities, and submission of accomplished SASs  

Grading System and Policies: 


The Final Grade is computed as follows: 
FG = (0.33xP1) + (0.33xP2) + (0.34xP3) 
P1/ P2/P3 = 100% Attendance/Google Classroom Participation/Performance

● If a student passes NSTP (CWTS/ROTC) but gets an “INC” for SSP, the
Final Grade is INC. Student will have a Post-Advising Session with the
adviser to get a completion mark in SSP before receiving the CWTS final
numerical grade.  

● If a student fails NSTP (CWTS/ROTC) but gets a “C” for SSP, the final grade
shall be NC. No need for completion.  

Skill building Instructions: Create a paradigm showing your idea on how the SSP program will
activities: contribute in its integration to the NSTP and its components.
