Market-Driven Support Offerings for Oracle Applications, Fusion Middleware, and Database
Market-Driven Support (MDS) services offer a variety of Severity 1 Fixes, security updates, legislative and statutory updates for customers running
Oracle software versions in Sustaining Support. ACS offers services that are designed to ensure customers have a predictable set of Severity 1
Fixes, Financial (localization backports) and Payroll Legislative updates to protect their application investment while they are upgrading to the latest
version or moving to Oracle Cloud. These services are available or planned for Oracle PeopleSoft, E-Business Suite, JD Edwards, Fusion Middleware,
and Oracle Database as shown in the table below. Part numbers indicated should be used for MDS offerings. For more information, please consult

Extended Support for DB 12.1 ends Jul-22. The Database team has established a process to extend Support (without any
MDS fees) from 1-Aug-2022 until 31-Dec-2022.
MDS will become “generally available” for D/B 12.1 to any customer effective June of 2022. Any customer who

Jul-22 purchases the GA version of MDS for DB 12.1 will automatically be approved for Support’s “Sev-1 Production” support

exception from Aug-Dec 2022. Customers will still need to contact Support Renewals to request a contract and pay any
applicable fees.

Nov-20 Regular Premier Support ended Nov-2020. DB 12.2 was not a terminal release, therefore Extended Support was not offered.

(Mar-223) “Limited Error Correction” was added by Oracle, and it extends critical issue fixes through March 2022.
This is not a “long term release”. No Extended Support was offered, and no standard MDS program will be offered. As of
18c June-21
the writing of this document, no Support exceptions were being granted.
