G10 Bse2b Tag Lesson Plan

The document contains a detailed lesson plan for a class on recognizing the uses of gerunds in English grammar. The lesson plan outlines the objectives to define gerunds, distinguish their uses in sentences, and compose sentences using gerunds correctly. It details the preliminary activities like prayer, checking attendance, and a review game about the previous lesson. The lesson proper motivates learning about gerunds through a guessing game with GIFs showing actions like running, writing, reading, planting, dancing and singing. Students infer that the actions are verbs ending in "-ing" called gerunds, which function as nouns or objects in sentences.

D. Lesson Proper

So class, let us go back to your answers to our activity

a while ago.

I will present your answers:

“The man is running and the other one is writing.”

Great! Let’s have another one.
“We enjoy playing UNO cards”

That’s great guys! You can now identify what a gerund
