GUIDELINES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR GGSIPU CET ADMISSION 2022
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
Things to be brought compulsorily for admission to test/examination centre
ü Printed copy of e-Admit Card ü Original Photo ID proof as per instructions mentioned below
ü Face Mask & Hand Gloves ü Blue ball Pen for rough work & PET water bottle (transparent)
ü Personal hand sanitizer (50ml) ü 2 Passport size photographs
1. Candidates who have successfully registered for CETs, the E-Admit Cards will be made available on GGSIPU website: http://www.ipu.ac.in for
downloading and printing by candidates. You are advised to bring 02 recent passport size colored photographs to the examination Centre on day of
examination. The Link for downloading E-Admit Card will also be provided in the registered E-mail ID of the candidates.
2. The candidate must bring print out of the E-Admit Card to the allocated examination centre on the Date and Time mentioned along with at least one
valid ORIGINAL PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARD viz. Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar Card, Employer ID
(Government) issued by Government Authorities. (NO COLOUR PHOTOCOPY / SCANNED COPY / SOFT COPY OF THE IDENTITY CARD SHALL
BE ACCEPTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES). No candidate will be allowed entry without valid E-Admit Card and Photo Identification Card (in
original). Please retain 2nd copy of this E–Admit Card carefully for future records.
3. The candidates should check the particulars viz., Name, Date of Birth, Category, Sub-category, etc. mentioned in E-Admit Card carefully and also
eligibility in all respects as per admission process in Admission Brochure. Your candidature in the whole admission process is “PURELY
PROVISIONAL” pending scrutiny of your eligibility as mentioned in the Admission Brochure for the programme. In case, it is found at any stage of
selection that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not in conformity
with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the Admission Brochure including Age, Caste Category, Sub-Category, Application Fee, Educational
Qualification, etc. the candidature of such a candidate will be rejected at any stage of admission process and even after admission.
4. NO REQUESTS FOR CHANGE IN EXAMINATION DATE/SESSION/CENTRE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
5. The candidate is required to report at examination centre as per reporting time given above. Candidates are advised to reach their allotted
examination centre before reporting time as mentioned in E-Admit Card so that entry formalities i.e. Thermal Scanning, Bar Code Scanning and
Photography can be done prior to allotment of computer node for appearing in examination. The entry gates of examination centre will be closed
before half an hour before commencement of Computer Based Test. NO LATE ENTRY IS ALLOWED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
6. Candidates are strictly advised not to carry any electronic devices viz., Electronic gadgets, earphones or microphones, all type of watches, electronic
or non-electronic communication devices, hand bags, purse, calculator, log tables/pager, digital diary, book/notes and any type of metallic items etc.
inside the Examination Centre which are strictly prohibited in the examination centre. If any candidate is found in possession of any of these
devices/documents, his/her candidature is liable to be disqualified. Candidates are also advised not to bring any valuable/ costly items or jewelry to the
examination centre as arrangement of safe keeping of the same cannot be assured and exam centre will not be responsible for safe custody, loss or
theft. You are advised to see ‘Additional Instruction for Candidates due to COVID-19’ for showing the risk factor through Arogya Setu App in your
Mobile Phone at the entrance of the Examination Centre.
7. Once the Capturing of Photograph is done at Registration Desk of exam centre, the Candidate should proceed to the allocated computer node and
should not leave the Examination Hall/Room till the Computer Based Test is over. After the Computer Based Test is over, the candidates must appear
for photography before leaving the computer lab.
8. The User ID and Password for the Computer Based Test (CBT) will be provided to the Candidate 10 minutes before the commencement of
examination at their respective computer terminal. The Candidate will be required to enter Login ID and Password which will be provided at
examination centre to appear for Computer Based Test. Please ensure that your name, photograph appearing on the computer screen are correct
after Login.
9. The questions will be only in English for all the programmes except for B.Ed., B.Ed. (Spl Education) & M.Ed. programmes which will be in bilingual i.e.
English & Hindi.
10. For rough work, candidates should bring at least two transparent blue ball pens.
11. Anyone found to be disclosing, publishing, reproducing, transmitting, storing or facilitating transmission and storage of test contents in any form or any
information therein in whole or part thereof or by any means i.e., verbal or written, electronic or mechanical or taking away the rough papers supplied in
the examination centre or found to be in unauthorized possession of test content will be considered as serious misconduct and will be
debarred/disqualified from examination. GGSIPU will take disciplinary and legal action as per rules and such cases will be reported to police, if
necessary. Candidates must also refrain from creating any obstruction during the conduct of examination. If any candidate is found obstructing the
conduct of the examination or creating disturbances at the examination venue, his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. Such candidate
shall also be liable to be debarred from future examinations of the GGSIPU and legal proceedings could be initiated against him/her.
12. Persons with disability of 40% or more opted for his or her own scribe for marking responses (answers) on their behalf, has to produce original medical
certificate issued by competent medical authority regarding such disability at the time of entry to the examination centre. All the candidates with
disabilities will be allowed “compensatory time” of 50 minutes (over and above the normal duration of examination i.e., 2:30 Hrs.). A scribe declaration
form will be provided on the GGSIPU website, which is to be downloaded, filled and brought to the examination centre along with admit card on the day
of examination.

13. Any query/objection related to any question and its option(s)/answer by the candidates will be addressed by payment of Rs. 200/- per question only
through ONLINE ‘Objection Link’ which will be available for 3 days at GGSIPU website: http://www.ipu.ac.in after the closing date of the examination.
The communication in this regard will be sent to all the candidates, who have attended the CBT on their registered Email IDs and through mobile alerts.
Any representation thereafter, in this regard will not be entertained. Objection/complaint received through any other mode of communication/ channel
will not be entertained under any circumstances.
14. A link will also be available on the GGSIPU website for online Mock Test. The mock test facility is only for practice purpose and in order to
familiarize with the Computer Based Test. It is clarified that mock test is purely for practice purpose and not the actual of CBT.
15. The candidate should regularly visit GGSIPU website http://www.ipu.ac.in for latest updates through notifications, instructions, circulars related to this
admission process.
16. The candidate should retain 2nd copy of this E–Admit Card carefully for future records as the same is required to be produced at the time of counseling
and verification of documents.
17. No travelling expenses will be admissible for appearing in Computer Based Test.
18. The CBT will be of 150 Minutes and shall consist of Objective Type 100 Questions with 4 Multiple Choice Responses (Answers) out of which
candidate has to choose one correct response (answer) only. Each question shall carry Four Marks. There shall be negative marking of one
mark for every wrong answer.
19. Candidates are also advised to read the “Online Examination Instructions” carefully for computer based test/exam available with this E-Admit Card at
last page.
1. Candidate must maintain social distancing starting from point of entry in the exam venue till his/her exit from the exam venue and follow the Signages /
Notice Board.
2· In order to maintain Social Distancing Norm in the examination Hall, the Candidates will sit at alternative Computer Nodes. In case Candidate is having
COVID-19 symptom, in that case he/ shall be allowed to appear in CBT in a separate Isolation Lab/ Hall.
3· Candidate must bring their own Face Mask, Hand Gloves, personal hand sanitizer (50ml), transparent blue ball pen, PET water Bottle (transparent)
and the exam related documents (Admit Card, Photo ID Card etc.). No other items will be permitted inside exam Lab/Hall.
4· Candidate must have Aarogya Setu App installed on his mobile phone. The Aarogya Setu dashboard must show candidate's risk factor. Candidate will
have to show this dashboard to the Security Guard at the entry into the exam venue. THIS IS MANDATORY. In case a candidate does not have a
smart phone, he/she will have to bring in a signed declaration to this effect (self-declaration is given below with this Admit Card) and show the same to
the Security Guard at the entry into the exam venue.
5· Temperature of a candidates will be checked at the entry to the exam venue via a Thermo Gun.
6· Candidate’s Roll Number and the Lab Number' will NOT be displayed outside the exam venue, but the same will be provided to the candidates
individually at the time of entry to the exam venue after their Admit Card and ID verification.
7· Candidates needs to follow directions given by Examination Centre representatives in order to observe social distancing at the entry point.
8· At registration desk, the candidate will be directed to sanitize his / her hands using sanitizer after which Photograph will be captured during the
registration process.
9· Candidates will be under CCTV surveillances from entry to exit in the examination premises.
10· Candidate is required to report at the exam venue strictly as per the time slot mentioned in the admit card which will also be informed via SMS on their
registered mobile number prior to exam date. It is expected that candidate strictly adhere to this time slot – as entry into the test centre will be provided
based upon the individual's time slot ONLY.

ONLINE EXAMINATION INSTRUCTIONS (for CBT)
2. The clock will be set at the server. The countdown timer in the top right corner of screen will display the remaining time available
for you to complete the examination. When the timer reaches zero, the examination will end by itself. You will not be required to
end or submit your examination.
3. The Question Palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question using one of the following
symbols:
The Marked for Review status for a question simply indicates that you would like to look at that question again. If a question is
answered and Marked for Review, your answer for that question will not be considered in the evaluation.
