Download ELSA Speak
Step 1: Scan QR code or Search for ELSA Speak
app on App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store
(Android).

Step 2: Download the ELSA Speak app from the

App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Note:
Operating system requirements:
★ Android: 5.x.x Lollipop or higher

Step 3: Select Login.
Step 4: Enter your Email Address and
Password sent by your company or ELSA
support team.
Click the Sign in button.

Note:
❖ Please do not use your Facebook account
to log in, the course package you join is
only linked to the registered email
address.
❖ ELSA Speak currently does not have a
laptop or computer version.

Edit your personal information Profile
Step 1: Tap on the Profile button in the menu bar
below.
Step 2: Select the bar where your name is
stated.
Step 3: Select Edit your profile
You can adjust your personal information on this
page by clicking “Edit” in the corresponding
property, making adjustments, and selecting
“Done” to save the changed content.

Note:
★ Mother Tongue: Your native language →
select Vietnamese (Vietnamese) so that
the application recognizes learners and
displays the translation in Vietnamese.
★ Display Language: Language displayed
on the application → select Vietnamese
(Vietnamese) so that you can easily
understand the functions on the application
if you are not fluent in English. 7

Set the learning goals Profile
Step 1: Click the Profile button in the menu
bar below
Step 2: Select the bar where your name is
stated.
Step 3: Select Learning & Sound
settings. On this page, you can choose:
practice minutes/day (10-20
minutes/day)and set the time you can best
practice the day → ELSA will remind you to
study at this time.

Note:
❖ If you edit a learning goal, the new goal
will take effect the next day.
❖ Do not select Reset my app as you will
delete all your learning history on the app.

Change Password Profile
Step 1: Click the Profile button in the menu bar

Step 2: Select the bar where your name is
stated.
Step 3: Select Edit your profile
On this page, Select Change Password →
Enter the old password and confirm the new
password according to the instructions on the
application → select Done to save the changed
content

Step 1: Select Login.
Step 2: Select Forgot Password.
Step 3: Enter the email you registered with ELSA
PRO, then the system will send you a link to
create your new password via this email.

Assessment Test Profile

Step 1: Click the Profile button in the menu bar

below.

Step 2: Select Progress

Step 3: Find your level now.

Step 4: Select Start to begin the assessment.

Step 5: Record and return recordings of 16

short sentences.

Note: You need to take an Assessment test as

soon as you log in to your account so that the
ELSA app can design a personalized learning
path for you and track your progress after
5 practicing with the app.

feedback:
● Score for each skill.
● Detailed report for each sentences in
the Assessment test.
Continue to click See my learning plan to
let the app start creating your own learning

Select Retake test.

Note: You should retake the test every 2 or 3

months to accurately assess your
pronunciation skill level.

Learning Tips
ELSA recommends:
★ Practice at your best
★ Choose Advanced mode to let the
application help you correct all the
syllables in the practice item.
★ Make an effort to reread it several
times to get a better score than the
current one.

Learning Tips
You should:
★ Click on each letter to see instructions
for correct pronunciation (*)
★ Choose Practice this word to
improve pronunciation better.
Note for Highlight Colours:
★ Green: this sound you pronounce
correctly.
★ Yellow: this sound you pronounce
roughly correctly.
★ Red: this sound you pronounce is
wrong.

If you set the Display Language is

Vietnamese, the pronunciation guide in You
Said will display Vietnamese (see how to
change Display Language Settings here).

1. Daily Lessons (Recommended By Coach)
Discover
Step 1: Choose Discover with Binoculars
icon.

Step 2: Select Coach

Practice recommended lessons based on
your Assessment test results.

The number of ELSA lessons that are

compatible with the Learning Goals set
initially in the Profile tab.

★ 10 minutes = 5 lessons
★ 15 minutes = 7 lessons
★ 20 minutes = 10 lessons

Note: In order for the App to suggest a

personalized learning path that suits your
ability, you need to take the Assessment
Test (16 questions) in the Profile tab.

2. Skills (Your Pronunciation Guide) Learn

Step 1: Choose Learn with Book icon.

Step 2: Select Skills in the top left

corner.

Step 3: Choose the pronunciation skills

or sound groups you want to practice

Note: You can prioritize practice from lower

score groups of sounds/pronunciation skills
that need improvement first.

4.Mini Program (Pronunciation) Home
The content of the Mini-program is designed
into 6 main lessons equivalent to 7 days of
practice.

After completing the practice, you can do

the Final test.

If your Final Exam results are satisfactory,

you will receive an ELSA certificate of
completion for that sound group.

6. Special Programs Home
With this feature, ELSA will offer
certificate-related courses (IELTS or Oxford
Business Result ).

Step 2: Select Earn a Certificate.

Note: The Oxford Business Result course is not

included in the ELSA Pro package you paid for.

Profile
In the Profile section, you can track your
learning progress:
★ Your ELSA score includes
★ 5 skills will be updated in real time in
the Pentagon Graph screen.
★ Prediction of IELTS speaking test score
(pronunciation).
★ Learning progress is shown through
weekly and yearly updated scores.
★ Your Assessment Test score.

You can also check your practice time of the
day by tapping the fire icons and the intensity
level with the thunder icon .

Note: To display the flame icon you need to

enable Competitive Mode in the Learning &
Sounds Setting section of the Settings tab of
the Profile tab.

Leaderboard Profile

To enable the Leaderboard feature:

Step 1: Click the Profile button in the menu bar
below
Step 2: Select the bar where your name is
stated.
Step 3: Select Learning & Sound settings.
On this page, turn on Competitive Mode to
participate in a learning competition with other
ELSA users.

Access the Leaderboard: Go to Profile =>
Rank XX.
Currently, ELSA has 10 main Leagues, you
need to practice regularly to accumulate points
and move to the new one.
★ The top 5 of the week's leaderboard in
the ADVANCEMENT group will be
advanced to the next League.
★ The bottom 5 people of the week will be
in the DANGER group and fall back to the
previous Leaderboard Tier in the following
week.
Note: Accumulated points will be reset every
week. Practice regularly every day to increase
accumulated points.
Recommendation: You should practice with
ELSA regularly every day to accumulate study
points and compete in the leaderboards.

Dictionary Discover
★ Go to Discover -> Select Dictionary

The Dictionary feature in ELSA helps you look

up and practice pronouncing the items (word,
phrase or sentence) you want.

There are 3 ways to do it:

Method 1: Enter the item in the search box

Method 2: Press the Speak button to read for

the app to recognize.

Method 3: Press the Scan image button and

use your phone camera to scan text (printed on
signs, book covers, etc.)

Study Sets Discover

Step 1: Go to Discover

Step 2: Select Study Sets (Bộ bài học).

Step 3: Select the icon in the top right

corner of the screen to review the study
sets you have created.

Assignment Discover & Home
Note: This feature only shows the
assignment when your organization's Admin
Method 1 assigns them from the Dashboard.
Method 2

The assignment will be located in the

Discover Tab or Home tab of the learner's
ELSA Speak App.
● Once you complete adding the
assignments to a class, all learners of
that class can view and practice directly
on their ELSA Speak app!
Notes:
Color indicators for the student’s
progress status
o Not started
o In progress
o Completed
The learners can check:
o Class Name
o Due date of the assignment
o Progress status of their own

Assignment Discover & Home

● Learners will receive their score

immediately after finishing the
assignment and can redo it if they want
to improve for better results.
