Summary of fundamental belief


1. The Holy Scriptures All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for
reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect,
throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. Trinity Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matthew 28:19

3. God the FatherGod the eternal Father is the Creator, Source, Sustainer, and Sovereign of all creation.
He is just and holy, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and
faithfulness. The qualities and powers exhibited in the Son and the Holy Spirit are also those of the
Father. (Gen. 1:1; Deut. 4:35
