Common Error
All operation should be done when printer power off
1. Link fail or Link error

Solve method:
(1) Plug the long flat cable (26P cable) between head board and main board again.

(2) Plug the black link cable between head board and main board again.

(3) Measure the power box output voltage is normall or not.

(4) If the above methods all do and can’t help.remove the long flat cable on head board, then turn on
printer, if printer still show link error, need replace head board. Detailed way for replacement, please
contact engineer.

2. Crash when cleaning


(1) Change the wiper parameters
Printer off power, press up, down, left, right buttons at same time, ask someone help turning on printer,
enter factory setup menu, find Wiper:Pop,Lift and WiperDir:Normal. After change to the above right
setting, save .and turn power on printer again.

(2) If printer still show same issues, need replace head board or main board. Detailed way for
replacement, please contact engineer.

3. Error code:16
(1) Printer off power, plug the transfer board on head board again, the yellow areais transfer
board. the white cable on transfer board is head cables.
(2) if no change by plug transfer board, remove the transfer board, and turn on printer again to check
the screen show

a. turn on normally, screen show standby, please replace head


b. if turn on abnormally, still show error 16,please replace head board.

4.Ink flying when print


1.Install earth wire to reduce static electricity：use one copper wire connect to the yellow wire
with triangle.
2.Open Atool, click advanced setting(password is 16753),adjust head voltage, voltage

can’t exceed 580.


3.Lower head height, be careful to avoid head touch material.

4. Occurs tilt/ghost, print starting point not keep same, and ink carriage

can’t back to right side.


(1) Open Atool, Do Hidi/step align again, if align is ok, please choose single direction print. If single
direction still have problem, please check the encoder film position.
a. turn off printer, use alcohol clean film if the flim dirty by ink or dust.

b. up the film position in right side

c. if still same issues, please replace car motor.

5. Pause on both sides when print


(1) Reinstall computer system
(2) Replace head board
(3) Replace the black link wire

6. Cart error

(1) Check if carriage sensor connection if loosen and damage

(2) Check encoder film sensor if in the middle position of encoder film,can’t touch film.

(3) Flick the encoder film(transparent film) lightly by hand,to see if film loosen

(4) Check carriage motor


a. under error condition, push the car,if can push. please check or replace the 36v power box.
b. Check if car motor belt loosen

c. Check car motor code: if 1 on the up side,turn off printer,down the 1,then turn on printer to
see if work normally.

(5) After do the above all,if still can’t solve, please replace head board and main board.

7. Cap error

Show cap error after power on printer:


(1) Single head model:
a. Check cap station set is right: Printer off power, press up, down, left, right buttons at same time, ask
someone help turning on printer, enter factory setup menu, find station Right set is : Station: CAP.
Save and power on printer again.
(2) Double head model:
a. Check cap station sensor position if too high or too low, check if sensor damage.

b. Check cap station gear if damage, if have lubricant.

c. Check cap station motor cable if loose

d. Replace main board
