To connect with these schools’ concerns and queries, learning engagements are planned to upskill and inform
school administrators on various issues regarding school management and operations. The quality assurance
management and the seamless approach with the existing policies and guidelines of the DepEd in order to
maintain an excellent and seamless service to Private Educational Institutions operating in the NCR and to
promote the efficiency, effectiveness, and integrity of roles and functions towards achieving classified outputs
are the Division’s utmost focus.

Rationale
As private schools are facing difficulties similar to public schools in coping with learning loss, our educational
leaders are deemed to prepare, plan and implement significant changes in educational settings giving the role
of private school leaders in achieving educational excellence and equitable value.
The Quality Assurance Division as the regulatory and developmental services continuously provides 16 SDOs
with an emphasis on innovations and new programs in aiding the various private schools in the National
Capital Region.
In order to address issues regarding the DepEd's special guidelines for the administration, supervision, and
operation of private schools, the Regional Education Summit for Private Schools will be held. This program
aims to provide clear regulatory and technical assistance as the Quality Assurance Division provides permits
to operate, recognize schools, issues special order, approves school fees increase, and other related services.
Additionally, this event serves as a means of highlighting the contribution of private schools to sustain to
quality education in the nation.

Program Description The Regional Education Summit for Private Schools (RESPS) with the theme“pRiMe Convergence:
Empowering the Education Ecosystem” is an undertaking being spearheaded by the Quality Assurance
Terminal Objectives:
1. The Regional Education Summit for private schools aims to sustain an excellent and
seamless service to private educational institution’s operation
Enabling Objectives:
1. Empower Private School Administrators with an opportunity to be engaged with
Education Leaders to keep abreast of the current directions and guidelines in the
operations of private schools towards the attainment of quality education; and
2. Gain knowledge of the existing innovations designed and implemented by QAD in
processing Government Authority applications and other related concerns.
