“The more that you read, the more things you will know.

The more that you learn, the more places

you'll go.”
- Dr. Seuss
Introduction
MYRA: A pleasant morning to all administrators, fellow teachers, club officers, participants, parents, and
guests.
MYRA AND JHEN: WELCOME to our READING and LITERACY MONTH CELEBRATION!

JHEN: One of the pillars in literacy is READING. Yes, reading is essential and serves as a basic building block
for learning. It is a life skill that a child must learn in his early growth and development for him to acquire
and achieve wisdom and success in life in the future.

MYRA: As part of our celebration, we planned and conducted creative, interesting, and challenging reading
activities that suited the level and skills of our learners.

JHEN: We know everyone is excited today because after a long period of staying, studying, and working
from home, finally we are all here…gathered today to celebrate and showcase the different talents of our
learners through our guidance.

Opening Prayer & National Anthem

MYRA: Before we start this special event, let us seek first the grace and help of our creator through an
opening prayer to be led by Mrs. Camille Q. Garcia, Teacher II, followed by the singing of the National
Anthem to be conducted by Mr. Wilfredo A. Vitobina, Teacher I.

JHEN: May we ask everyone to please rise.
