As a DBA, I was responsible for the entire SQL Servers in this organization. I played a major role in the Applications Infrastructure Team; taking care of Development, QA and Production Environments. I was taking care of SQL Query Tuning and Performance Tuning, monitoring backups, replications, Mirroring, creating and maintaining DTS & SSIS packages. I had implemented High Availability and DR Site for mission-critical applications. I also worked on SQL Server Migration from 2005 to 2008 and migration from 32-bit to 64-bit. Previously I was in In-house Applications development team doing application development, and maintenance. I was also playing a role as single point contact for any intranet applications support; and developing applications for Corporate Communications & Other Support Functions (HRMS, PMS, Helpdesk, Taxi Request, etc) and occasionally did poster designs.

Project #1 Client : Aricent Technologies Title Platform : Revenue Forecast Analysis : Windows Server 2003, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, ASP.NET 2.0 (Visual Studio 2005) & Business Intelligence Studio 2005, SQL Server Replication.

Project Description An Internal project using SSIS Packages to fetch the Companys customer,opportunity and sales data from the external website salesforce.com using a 3rd Party tool called dbAmp and the data is stored on to SQL Server. The dumped data from salesforce.com is processed and created as opportunities and projects internally and the users are given interfaces to create resource allocations (tagging of employees to projects) and to feed funnel and forecast for each project for a location for a servicetype for each month. Data from multiple sources are fetched and the dimension modelling has been applied and the dimension & fact data are created, processed and populated from the raw data using SSIS packages. The final data which contains a combination of data from all sources is populated using reverse lookups in SSIS and shown in a single excel file which users can refresh and the data in the excel will get changed after each synch up. Project #2 Client : Aricent Technologies Title : Project Performance Index (PPI) Platform : Windows Server 2003, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (OLAP Cubes), ASP.NET 2.0 (Visual Studio 2005) & Business Intelligence Studio 2005(SSIS,SSRS,SSAS) and MDX queries. Project Description An Internal project to show the reports of the score of each projects performance under each business unit, including the Billing efficiency, Budgeted efficiency, Salarycost data, QualityMetrics target & actual and Travel actual and budgeted information and the variance for each type and the score for the same based on the variance according to the given weightages through which we can measure the KPIs of each project. All the information like Budgeted data, resource allocation data, Timesheet data and data from SAP and many other systems are aggregated and stored in to the cube using SSIS Packages (ETLs) and then fetched back in to the screens using the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) in a required format. All possible technologies in the BI Tools are used in this project to do a lot of calculations and aggregations to display the score for each project for calculating the incentive for each employee. Lot of reports are developed to show the budgeted and actual efficiency pyramid. The drilldowns are provided in such a way that user can view the data from the top level till the leaf level. Ex: - Business UnitBusiness Group-Engineering Group-Project-Employee wise score. Project #3 Client : Aricent Technologies Title : Capstone Platform : Windows Server 2003, Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (OLAP Cubes), ASP.NET 2.0 (Visual Studio 2005) & Business Intelligence Studio 2005. Project Description An Internal project Using Webservices to retrieve data from a website where all the company data and its processing takes place using many of the intranet applications as well updating the data in to the local database. It also involves fetching the data into OLAP Cube using the BI Studio and generating reports using analysis services of SQL server 2005. Have written many stored procedures, SOQL Queries DTS Scripts and Windows Services to fetch the Company data from the external website salesforce.com using a 3rd Party tool called dbAmp and processing the retrieved data and created costsheets, projects and reports to analyse the company data like monthwise Manpower,Travel,Revenue,Budget,Actual data,etc. which is used in reengineering the whole business process of the company. Application Development: A tool for Product releases management and tracking for Aricent Products. This is integrated with other systems like Project Management & Siebel Tool. This application will take care of creation of products, part numbers and product release notices. The workflow is completely automated from new product entry point till the product release notice. This predefines few user groups who can control the workflow and do the administration on this tool. Project #5 Title Platform : Helpdesk Management System : Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2005, ASP

Project Description This is an application which accepts requests/queries from Employees and assigns to the Service Provider in the Support Team. In this application user can create/revise/delete requests and the service provider can accept/reject or close the request. The service provider can re-assign the open requests to any other person in his/her team or to other service provider. This has an automated approval mechanism which we can control through the configurations. Also the Helpdesk Categories and Service Provider Matrix are configurable through the Helpdesk Administrator Interface. Project Description This is an application which creates the new projects and tracks the budget/Costsheet and defines the complete roles & responsibilities in the projects. This tool handles Project Creation/ Revision / Execution and Closure. The Projects entire lifecycle is automated in this system and this is integrated with other systems to share the roles & responsibilities of and resource allocations too. Project #7 Title : Customer HDC System Platform : Windows Server 2003, SQL Server 2000, ASP Project Description This is an application for issue tracking which has an interface for customers to log their queries/issues with the product they purchased. Once the customer details are created in the system, the login credentials will be provided to provide their queries/requests. This tool collects customers queries/requests. There are different workflows involved here based on the request type (Query/Bug/Enhancement). This tool has its own configuration for SLA for the tasks. Once the request is received, it will be sent to Helpdesk Call Coordinator and then he/she will assign it to the concern person in development team. In case of a query, the call coordinator can directly respond to customers and close the call. This is also integrated with Project Management System and Resource Management Tool.
