the Barco-wide user authentication system. The look and feel of the login process has
changed.
More information on SSO setup: https://www.barco.com/en/support/knowledge-base/kb12591
• Support for MFA. A user can setup MFA by visiting https://www.barco.com/mybarco and
signing in with the same QAWeb Enterprise user and password. Next, MFA setup can be done
under ‘My Account’ (involves scanning a QR code with commonly-used authenticator apps).
• Added column ‘communication type’ in assets > Displays
• The address input (using the MapBox) component is improved to allow setting the address
manually for addresses missing a ZIP code; or when a network error causes the MapBox
component to fail.

Apr 1st, 2022 – Agent 2.8.2

Agent 2.8.2
Solved issues:

QAWeb Enterprise Release Notes 1

• We identified and fixed an issue where the automatic resending of local Agent task results
performed during server unavailability was not properly functioning. After the unexpected
downtime of the online service on March 27th-28th, several workstations in the Portal were
missing calibration or test results (even though in reality, these tasks were executed), causing
them to be incorrectly shown as 'Due' or 'Outdated'.
Updating the Agent to version 2.8.2 will correct this problem and cause these agents to
automatically resend the missing results to the Portal. More info:
https://www.barco.com/en/support/knowledge-base/KB12620
• SteadyColor calibration and SteadyColor response test were disabled on systems that
implement SteadyColor using the MXRT graphics board.

Feb 16th, 2022 – Agent 2.8.1

Agent 2.8.1
Solved issues
• When updating existing agents to version 2.8.0, the custom HTTP proxy settings were lost,
causing a loss of connectivity after the update until the proxy configuration was manually
applied again. (Note: Agents using 'no proxy' or 'use system proxy' were not affected by this
issue. New 2.8.0 installations were also not affected.)

Feb 3rd, 2022 – Portal 2.10.0, Agent 2.8.0

Portal 2.10.0
New functionality
• QAWeb Enterprise Portal users (identified with a single email address) can now be a member
in multiple QAWeb Enterprise organizations.

o This is mostly useful for external physicists or service providers that are active in
multiple healthcare organizations that use QAWeb Enterprise.
o Users that are member of multiple organizations, will be able to select the organization
to login to, following successful user+password entry. After that, the Portal
remembers the last organization as default.
o A menu entry 'Switch organization' has been added in the menu, accessible by clicking
your initials in the upper-right corner of the Portal application.
o Users have separate permissions and scopes in different organizations, but a single
password for login is used.
o We have some remaining work to enable user SSO/ADFS support, this will be added
soon.

• When deleting a workstation in the portal, the user is asked whether to unlink or keep the
associated displays.

Agent 2.8.0
• Added the ability to match the white luminance measurements by the I-Guard sensor of the
display with the luminance measured using an external photometer. For more information, see
the chapter Hardware Maintenance in the agent user manual (https://documentation-qaweb-
agent.healthcare.barco.com).
• The installation process has been made more reliable. The local storage of the agent moved to
C:\ProgramData\Barco\QAWeb (earlier versions:
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Barco)
• Uninstalling the agent will now remove all local data and settings. This is done to ensure a
consistently clean system state in case of troubleshooting. Note: when updating the agent

QAWeb Enterprise Release Notes 2

software, it is not required to first uninstall the old version. The installer will automatically
replace the older version, making sure any local settings are saved.
• Improved reliability of USB communication with the display (in some hardware combinations,
users reported an occasional loss of USB communication only solved by power-cycling the
display).
• Various smaller bugfixes.

Oct 26th, 2021 – Agent 2.7.1

Agent 2.7.1
Solved issues
• Fixed an issue introduced in the 2.7.0 release 11 that caused a loss of connection to the online
service when upgrading from an older version.
• Fixed issue where after initial installation of 2.7.0, test patterns could not be shown until a
restart of barcocore.exe

Oct 11th, 2021 – Portal 2.9.0, Agent 2.7.0

Portal 2.9.0
New functionality
• Introduced a refresh button on the workstation detail which triggers the Agent at the
workstation to immediately sync its settings with the latest server policies. Using this, you can
update a task policy and immediately apply it to an agent.
• There is a dedicated detail per display bundling all related information: display characteristics,
calibration settings, task history, warranty info, ...
• Next to that, we improved the address input of a hospital. It requires less steps to complete
the form and provides more accurate information on a map.
• The IP of the workstations is now displayed on the workstation page next to the hostname.
Solved issues
• Solved an issue in larger organizations where the list of workstations was trimmed.
• Sorting on several Insights columns was not possible.
• Could not delete a duplicate policy.

Agent 2.7.0
New functionality
• Agents are now able to run in stand-alone mode. This allows individual workstations to
calibrate and monitor attached displays.
• During the installation of the Agent, the user can postpone the configuration to a later
moment. This allows you to take an image of the workstation and deploy it across multiple
machines.
• We introduce a display communication check which monitors the communication between
workstation and display (video link or USB)
• Details on the task results can be consulted from the Agent systray. They provide the same
detail as what was already available in the Portal. They are available in PDF for portability and
storage.
Solved issues
• Some configurations were suffering from frequent dialog popups to confirm the use of the
displays.
• Fixed use of , and . as decimal separator in the ONR test.
• Solved issue where the visual test results were discarded when they ran on workstations
where the displays didn't go to sleep mode.

QAWeb Enterprise Release Notes 3

• Interaction between IWT and Agent got solved to prevent SpotView/DimView during
calibration and QA tasks.
• Manuals are now included correctly in the Agent installer and are deployed in the installation
folder.

December 1st, 2020 - Portal 2.5.1, Agent 2.5.1
Bugfix release with small improvements

Agent 2.5.1
Bugfixes:
• Some installed agents were not correctly executing tasks due to corrupt local task results
cache files. File corruption was caused by earlier versions (<2.4) that occasionally crashed on
USB events. This resulted in ‘Agent has no valid policy’ message in the webclient when trying
to remotely run a calibration or QA task.

Improvements:
• Agents can upload logfiles at Barco remote request for investigation purposes

through the webclient), they will wait until the 10 minutes is reached.
• Ambient light settings on room-level have been replaced with ambient light policies. Please
refer to the user manual for further reading. An automatic migration from the old settings to
the new system is implemented.
