TDE10170 11 ReleaseNote
Agent 2.9
New functionality
▪ Optionally wake standby displays when tasks become due.
▪ Support tool to optimize I-Guard area
▪ Addition of TG-270 SQC and TG-270 PQC test patterns
▪ Support for MDNC-6121 SNEF CN

o This is mostly useful for external physicists or service providers that are active in
multiple healthcare organizations that use QAWeb Enterprise.
o Users that are member of multiple organizations, will be able to select the organization
to login to, following successful user+password entry. After that, the Portal
remembers the last organization as default.
o A menu entry 'Switch organization' has been added in the menu, accessible by clicking
your initials in the upper-right corner of the Portal application.
o Users have separate permissions and scopes in different organizations, but a single
password for login is used.
o We have some remaining work to enable user SSO/ADFS support, this will be added
soon.
• When deleting a workstation in the portal, the user is asked whether to unlink or keep the
associated displays.
Agent 2.8.0
• Added the ability to match the white luminance measurements by the I-Guard sensor of the
display with the luminance measured using an external photometer. For more information, see
the chapter Hardware Maintenance in the agent user manual (https://documentation-qaweb-
agent.healthcare.barco.com).
• The installation process has been made more reliable. The local storage of the agent moved to
C:\ProgramData\Barco\QAWeb (earlier versions:
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Barco)
• Uninstalling the agent will now remove all local data and settings. This is done to ensure a
consistently clean system state in case of troubleshooting. Note: when updating the agent
Agent 2.7.0
New functionality
• Agents are now able to run in stand-alone mode. This allows individual workstations to
calibrate and monitor attached displays.
• During the installation of the Agent, the user can postpone the configuration to a later
moment. This allows you to take an image of the workstation and deploy it across multiple
machines.
• We introduce a display communication check which monitors the communication between
workstation and display (video link or USB)
• Details on the task results can be consulted from the Agent systray. They provide the same
detail as what was already available in the Portal. They are available in PDF for portability and
storage.
Solved issues
• Some configurations were suffering from frequent dialog popups to confirm the use of the
displays.
• Fixed use of , and . as decimal separator in the ONR test.
• Solved issue where the visual test results were discarded when they ran on workstations
where the displays didn't go to sleep mode.
Agent 2.6.0

• Agent software mechanism is now included: agents will detect future updates and allow
updating from the UI.
• Visual test questions are now translated

• User guide for agent is separated out from the portal manual
Bugfixes
• Could not cancel a running luminance response test with an external sensor
• Reduced check interval of barcocoremonitor from 5 to 30 seconds to avoid spawning barcocore
when windows is shutting down
• Runtime and generalconfig tasks should not log journal event log entries for sleeping displays
Agent 2.5.1
Bugfixes:
• Some installed agents were not correctly executing tasks due to corrupt local task results
cache files. File corruption was caused by earlier versions (<2.4) that occasionally crashed on
USB events. This resulted in ‘Agent has no valid policy’ message in the webclient when trying
to remotely run a calibration or QA task.
• ICC compliance check gave unclear message when no ICC profile is associated with a display
• Mammography compliance test could not run on workstation with displays
Improvements:
• Agents can upload logfiles at Barco remote request for investigation purposes
Portal 2.5.1
Improvements/bugfixes:
• Agent remains out of sync with current policy when only non-clinical displays are used
• Workstations asset list and workstation detail now indicate that a new agent update is
available
• Workstation detail - event log: Repeating N/A task results in the event log are now aggregated
instead of repeating entries
• Display asset list: firmware version column added
• Workstation QA list: online/offline column added
• Show accurate error message when adding user with email that already exists
• Improved rendering of tables on Microsoft Edge browser
Portal 2.5.0
New features / improvements:
• Ambient light policies + optional notifications for ambient light limits (see also: agent,
important changes)
• PDF reports are now automatically removed from the Portal after 7 days
• New PDF summary workstation report:
o DICOM GSDF Compliance report: Contains a chronological overview of all calibration
and luminance response tests, in a table format.
• Fleet reports (PRO feature): Fleet reports combine data from multiple workstations into one
single report. This way, a single PDF with information of all workstations, reducing time spent
on gathering reports. Currently, only one report type is available - more will be added in later
versions
o DICOM GSDF Compliance fleet report: Same content as the DICOM GSDF compliance
report, but for all workstations.
• Downloadable PDF reports for all individual test results - including chart/graphs
Agent 2.5.0
New features / improvements:
• Optional ambient light warnings/notifications (requires displays with an integrated ambient
light sensor. See also: ambient light policies in user manual
Bugfixes:
• German translations were missing
• Questions in ONR wizard were not translated
• Mammography compliance test could not run on workstation with displays of different use
• Executing Mammography compliance constancy test temporarily interrupted the IOT
connection.
• Fixed communication issue with MNDC-2221 with older firmware versions (V1.XX)
Agent 2.4.1
Bugfixes
• Improvements to waking displays that are in standby before starting a QA test:
o Abort test results with sensor measurements when the backlight is powered off during
a test (in standby) - this caused storage of false/unrealistic test results
o Additional logic added to avoid displays going into sleep, when the OS turns off the
video output during a QA test
o Multiple repeated executions of remotely waking a display no longer fails
• On MDNC displays, draw large sensor patch to measure for maximum luminance test - in line
with other QA tests
• Not all translations of QA tasks were included
Bugfixes
• Issue with timeformat caused agents to not always automatically execute a due task
• New workstation would not immediately (but after 15 minutes or a restart) receive a correct
policy
• fixed excel export of user list
• Sorting on connectivity date column in workstation asset list
• Workstations with an empty display name are not correctly shown

‘disabled’.
• Detection of external optical sensors is now controlled using a user interface button, instead of
continuous background polling.
