Philosophy is a set of beliefs that serves as the guiding principle
for educational systems. It establishes a framework within which
an academic institution's authority can address both fundamental
and pervasive issues and problems that will arise as the school
continues to strive for academic excellence and progresses
toward providing quality education.

A school's philosophy serves as a vehicle for instilling in students

a thorough understanding of what path to take in life and how to
live morally with others. It teaches students about their
responsibilities and inspires them to live a responsible and
service-oriented life.

To uphold society, University of Batangas went to great lengths to

lead in the formation of young generations, preparing them to be
effective components in the construction of a better family,
community, and nation, and a better world. Because the university

UB's responsibility to form students in order to help them develop
their knowledge, values, and skills in order to become assets to their community. UB recognizes

A The mission of an institution serves as an illustration of an
endeavor and an expression of the organization's purpose. Also,
it serves as a guide for the organization by defining the
organization's overall objective. Moreover, it explains the direction
and decision-making processes that must occur at all levels of
management for the benefit of the students.

UB has always adapted to changing circumstances. Aware of the country's economic and political
situation, the administrators desire to collaborate with the Filipino
people in preparing the youth for a better future. The University of
Batangas believes that there is no better way to prepare the youth
for the future than to provide them with a quality education. By
quality education, it means the kind of education that equips
students for their future and develops their competence in their
chosen fields.

the individual to participate in a global, technology, and research-
driven environment. Students are prepared to conduct research
that benefits the community and society. Knowledge of research
enables students to develop a thorough understanding of society's
needs and the reasons for the necessity of research in order to
solve specific problems. Similarly, UB molds its students to
become morally upright and responsible citizens whose concern for
the community is evident in their desire to conduct research on topics that will benefit the school
