Power of Words

When I say I find solace in you, I really mean it. When my life had made me travel to the roads I didn’t
deserved, your words gave me tranquillity. The days when my drawbacks used to be thorns that stopped
my foot towards betterment, your words gave me the courage to walk on thorns. The blood flowed like
rivers and tears flowed like waterfalls throughout the road to find happiness, your words demanded my
mind to stop leering my blood and tears. When my name was mere a joke and I was a girl to be looked by
catastrophe eyes, your words gave me pugnacity to be the change you want to see in the eyes of the world.
The days when even going to the stage was a big anxiety and holding a mic in my hands for even few
seconds was a hallucination, your words gave me the power to be the one I am. When putting down my
frame of reference was just considered unavailing, your words gave me the strength that now my point of
view is considered imperative. From being an undesirable ingredient to the most essential one, your words
brought the change in me.

Forest- The most anticipated treasure of Earth

Buried deep inside my mind is a memory. A memory of me running in the woods. The woods have trees of
the same kind and each tree has a story to tell. Some told the tales of the great rulers, some told the tales of
the girl next door, some told the stories of the religion and some told the story of an evil magician. I had
few speculations in my mind that how these immovable creatures are known to these stories. Are they
clairvoyant? Are they fortune tellers? Or are they the interlopers from other planet who came to Earth in
the form of trees in a wood? When I inquired, with an outstretched smile, the trees said, “ Oh little girl, we
are not clairvoyants. We are the ones who witnessed everything. From the birth of your grandparents to the
reign of Mughals, From the rule of Britishers in India to the incognito period of the pandavas, everything
has been witnessed by us. We are known to these fables because we have lived these tales.” I asked them
with curiosity that if you know so much then you should be kept in the museum, then why are you here in
these woods? The trees said that the things during the earlier generations are meant to be kept in the
museum because they are now not in a use of anyone. But we; we were used, are used and will be used in
the future. Our environment is one of the biggest treasures of our Earth. It is our duty to maintain Earth's
beauty. Let's take a pledge to contribute in our Earth's beauty instead of destroying it.

Creating My Destiny
With a confident tone, they said no. Without exploring the goodness in me, they said no. They found me
incapable to have the charisma to speak my views, they said no. They found my resume to be filled with
certificates of failures and success, they said no. Without even giving me a chance to utter a word, they
said no. With a heavy heart filled with guilt and pains, I broke down. I was shattered and was howling like
a chagrin girl. I found myself unlucky and came into the conclusion that I have fault in my stars. But wait,
who has the right to change my destiny? My stars?? No, never. It was, it is and will always be me who has
the right to write and change my destiny. So, what to do when people say no?? Do not wait for a chance. If
not this route, then the other way round perhaps is my destiny. If I don't get any opportunity, I will make it
on my own.
