Registration for all Adult Programs will begin 2 weeks prior to session start date.
Registration is required for all Adult Programs listed. Refunds can be requested up to 3 days before classes or programs start. Refunds within 3 days of activity start date or once activity has started require supervisor approval. If a class participant misses a class we cannot hold make-ups or prorate the price of the class.

Our classes must meet min. and max. enrollment standards. Classes may ll quickly or classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. If you have registered for a class that must be canceled, you will be contacted and entitled to a prorated or full credit.

Adult Knitting
Beginning and intermediate knitting projects. Come join us in learning the basics of knitting while making a scarf or a hat. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl, cast o , make a stitch gauge, read a simple pattern, and much more. Already know the basics, then choose a little more advanced project. Featured Classes
Intro To Polymer Clay
Come learn how to make beautiful jewlry using polymer clay. Basic techniques covered in this class will include making mille ore canes, skinner blends, and texturing. Characteristics of di erent brands of polymer clay will be presented along with special tips on how to mix and use color. This class is taught by Maggie Maggio, a nationally recognized polymer artist. (Materials for the class are included in the fee.) Boot Camp
The NECC Boot Camp is an intensive, six week training course created to get people into great shape as quickly as possible. The class will include exercise regimens from the U.S. Army, Yoga and Pilates, athletic drills from a number of popular sports, plyometrics, body weight exercises, as well as resistance and weight training. The work outs will change from class to class, confusing your muscles in order to keep your body from becoming accustomed to one type of routine which minimizes the results you desire. We will also perform High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) throughout the duration of the program. Personal trainer, Patrick Johnston, will lead the NECC Boot Camp and will answer questions about working out on your own and eating to achieve your tness goals. Adult Watercolors
Have you ever wanted to paint a thin wash of pale blue over a landscape? What about adding the look of texture to a painting using water color paints? Do you yearn to pick up a brush and replicate the sights in front of you? Start with our basic watercolor class taught by a professional artist. Womens Strength
WomenStrength physical self-defense classes focus on learning and practicing verbal and physical strategies. The verbal strategies include verbal assertiveness, confrontation and de-escalation, among others. Physical strategies include incapacitating strikes to vulnerable body parts, escapes from holds, and simple blocks. Open to any women or girls over 13 yrs (accompanied by adult). Parkinsons Exercise
Research suggests that exercise can help delay and improve the symptoms of Parkinson's disease and enhance quality of life for individuals with Parkinson's. This class uses a multi-disciplinary approach to address most of the symptoms of Parkinson's , from posture and movement to voice and facial expression, in a supportive, non-threatening environment. Taught by certi ed professional, Nancy Nelson who has extensive knowledge and exercise training speci c to Parkinson's disease, this program uses a variety of activities such as Tai Chi, Pilates, strength training, stretching and functional movement to improve muscle strength, agility, exibility and balance.
