Hgyjzu 3TWCMo2bv951guw Activity-Template - Risk-Management-Plan

The risk management plan summarizes two main types of risks to the project: going over budget and falling behind the training schedule. It provides scenarios for each risk type, assigns a risk level (low, medium, high), and proposes mitigation plans. For example, if a delivery truck costs more than expected it poses a low budget risk that can be addressed by getting additional quotes. The appendix defines probability and impact scales and provides a risk matrix for assessing inherent risks.

Operations & Training Risk Management Plan

Author: Project Manager Created: Dec 26

Status: Draft / Final Updated:

Objective
The purpose of risk management is to identify potential problems before they occur, or, in the
case of opportunities, to try to leverage them to cause them to occur. Risk-handling activities
may be invoked throughout the life of the project.
Executive Summary
provides a high-level overview of the project itself, the scope, and the overall approach in
developing the risk management plan. This tells the stakeholder(s) what to expect when
reviewing the plan and helps set their expectations
