PREFACE
To God alone be all the glory for His mercy and deliverance towards us all in this past
year. All thanks and praises to the Lord; the same yesterday, today and forever.
This year by the special grace of God, we shall be considering the theme: “THE
ACTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!” Focusing on the book of Acts. It was prayerfully
considered to raise our children to be able to build strong relationship with the HOLY
SPIRIT for their daily Christian living. God has a number of messages for us in the
book of Acts.
Ÿ Jesus Christ is now the ascended Lord, and only by believing in Him is there
salvation from sins.
Ÿ God expects members of the Church to spread the message of the gospel
throughout the world.
Ÿ To accomplish the task, God has sent the Holy Spirit, who gives us the power we
need.
Ÿ The most important characteristic of the Church is unity.
Ÿ God is in charge of His Church.
As usual, efforts have been made to tailor some lessons to correspond with activities in
the general Christian Church Calendar, certain biblical doctrines and Christian family
living. We also undertook to show some cases of some Missionaries who trusted and
depended on the ACTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT and dared to carry the gospel to the
unreached people groups. The curriculum has been designed to lead the unsaved child
to Christ. While the saved child desires to build strong relationship with the HOLY
SPIRIT for daily Christian living.
Please, always remember, “The letter kills but the Spirit gives life.” Therefore, pray
and depend solely on the HOLY SPIRIT to impact your life in order to be used of Him
to impact this next generation.
Appreciating you all for your labour of love. God bless you real good.

LESSON ONE
3RD J A N U A R Y
INTRODUCTION
Sing; Love of Jesus is so wonderful, love of Jesus is so wonderful, love of
Jesus is so wonderful, oh wonderful love. So high, I can't get over it, so
low, I can't get under it, so wide, I can't get around it. Oh wonderful love.
Happy New Year Children! It's 2021. Our God has been very good to us;
we must always appreciate His love for us. He loves us so much and wants
the best for us. Today, we are going to learn the love God has shown to us
so that we will not perish but have everlasting life.

NOTE TO TEACHER
A Pharisee named Nicodemus came to Jesus at night. A Pharisee was a
leader in the days of Jesus who knew the law of the Bible and wanted to
obey but found it difficult to obey so he pretended to follow and love the
Lord. This Pharisee that came to Jesus was tired of pretending so he said
to Jesus; “Rabbi (Teacher), we know that You are a teacher come from
God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”
Jesus replied and told him, “Truly, truly I say unto you, except one is born
again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. You can only appreciate God's
love by surrendering your life to Jesus today and you will become born
again.
This Pharisee did not understand what Jesus meant by being born again.
He said as he was an adult that would he enter his mother's womb and be
born again? Jesus said, “No, that is not what I meant.” Jesus explained to
him that except one is born of the water and of the spirit, he cannot enter
the kingdom of God. One needs to believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of
God and God had sent Him to die for our salvation; the third day He rose
again from dead. You need to confess the Lord Jesus Christ as your
personal Lord and Saviour. You can only appreciate God's love if you are
born again.
Jesus said, “That which is born of the spirit is spirit and that which is
born of flesh is flesh. God loves the world that he gave His only begotten
Son, Jesus Christ that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have
everlasting life.” Jesus said, “As Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up and whosoever
believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life. You can only
appreciate God's love if you are born again.
CHALLENGE: Are you saved? If NO! You can appreciate God's love by
surrendering your life to Jesus today and you will be born again.
INVITATION: Make use of John 3:3 to lead the unsaved children to
Christ.

LESSON TWO
10TH J A N U A R Y
NOTE TO TEACHER
Our Lord Jesus Christ did so many good things while He was on earth.
He did not only teach about God but demonstrated who God is to the
9
people. I hope you still remember some of the miracles He performed
while on earth? He raised the dead; open the eyes of the blind, made the
deaf to hear and so on. Jesus further revealed Himself alive to His
disciples and some other people after His resurrection for forty (40) days.
He taught them many things concerning the Kingdom of God. All these
were possible for Jesus as a result of the power of the Holy Spirit at
worked in Him. The Holy Spirit is a promise of God to all Christians.
You also need the Holy Spirit.
When it was time for Jesus Christ to return to God, He assembled His
disciples. He told them not to depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the
promise of the Father. Jesus told His disciples that when He leaves, the
Holy Spirit will come. He further told them that John truly baptized with
water, but they shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit few days after He
might have left. You need to surrender your life to Jesus and be born
again before the Holy Spirit can be yours.
The disciples did not fully understand what Jesus told them. They were
thinking of the restoration of the kingdom of Israel. However, Jesus
told them that they will receive power, after the Holy Spirit is come upon
them and they will be witnesses unto Him both in Jerusalem and in Judea
and Samaria and to the end of the earth. Jesus later ascended to heaven
and the Angels encouraged the disciples. You need to surrender your life
to Jesus and be born again before the Holy Spirit can be yours. And as a
child of God; you need the Holy Spirit for He is God's promise for you.
CHALLENGE: Are you saved and have you received the baptism of the
Holy Spirit? You need the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God's promise
to all Christians.
INVITATION: Make use of Romans 10:9 to lead the unsaved
children to Christ.
