1 Product Overview

The explosion-proof point-type UV flame detector AW-FD706EX is a small-sized high-performance


detector designed on the basis of the company's previous flame detectors, combining the market demands
and customer suggestions.
It contains the R2868 solar-blind UVTRON photoelectric sensor whose spectral range is 185~260nm
from Hamamatsu Photonics K.K.. With the built-in 32-bit microprocessor and the patented signal processing
algorithm, this detector can sense the fire and flame quickly and correctly, therefore reducing the response
time and improving the alarm accuracy. Furthermore, this explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant flame
detector is designed in a smaller size and a lighter weight, which makes it more convenient to install.
