Related videos relevance guideline for articles

User loves to read news every day, every hour to get informed what’s happening/breaks out all
over the world and what’s close to them, video in this case will provide important value for
consuming along with the article, and the key is how relevant the video against the article.

In this task, you will judge the relevance level of the video given one article, the relevance labels
are:
 Almost the Same – good to show, very relevant to context.
1. Usually, the video is talking about the exact same EVENT with article content within a similar time
period.
2. The Almost the Same video can be directly embedded in the article (Imagine the pictures in
newspaper)

 Related - somewhat related to context with


1. The video is talking about the similar TOPICS with the article content.
2. The topics of the content from the video and article can be combined, cascaded, connected, mutually
complemented, inter-correlated without any twists in order to create a more complete, continuous,
comprehensive or longer story.
3. Same entity but totally different topics should be considered as NOT RELATED
4. The RELATED video can only be put in recommendation list rather than in article.

 Not Related - clear not relevant to the context. 


Can’t find any relationships between the video and article with respect to the topics,
they are totally talking about different things/event even if the entities are the same.

 Detrimental - offensive, illegal, etc. 


 
 Page not found/Video can’t play.

 Cannot judge (foreign language, limited access, etc.)
