Speech 30 Public Speaking and Persuasion

Layunin ng Kurso:
1. To develop a deeper understanding of persuasion and public speaking;
2. To demonstrate critical thinking through crafting, analyzing, and evaluating of persuasive
messages in public speaking situations; and
3. To employ appropriate and effective persuasive strategies for public speaking purposes.

Inaasahang Matutunan: Upon completion of this course, the students should be able to:
1. Apply communication theories in public speaking situations;
2. Demonstrate critical thinking through crafting, analyzing, and evaluating of persuasive
messages in public speaking situations;
3. Employ appropriate and effective persuasive strategies for public speaking purposes;
and
4. Craft excellent persuasive speeches on social issues.
