My dream house would be a two-story home near a lake, with large windows to let in natural light. It would have a spacious kitchen fully stocked for cooking, as well as a private gym for exercise without paying for a membership. While simplicity is valued, my ideal home would provide beauty, nature, and amenities to support a healthy lifestyle.

Introductory Statement
I have stayed in the same house with my parents since I was a baby. As I get older, I decide that I should move
into a new home and I assumed that everybody wants to own their dream house at a young age. Living in my
dream house would be my biggest accomplishment in life. I have been collecting pictures of my dream houses
for a while now. I am not looking for something too simple and boring. Yes, simplicity is indeed a beauty. That is
what people always said to me.

Thesis Statement

When it comes to my dream house, I always wanted to own an extraordinary home with a big swimming pool, a
spacious kitchen, and an aesthetic bedroom.
Topic sentence 1 - My dream home should be a two-
story house with plenty of large windows that would
make the rooms bright and situated outside the city,
somewhere near a lake surrounded by the beautiful
nature.

Supporting detail 1 - It would be a wonderful idea to stay


in a house that has a lake nearby because every day will
be refreshing as I enjoy the fresh breeze air. All around
me lie the most beautiful plants and flowers you have
ever seen.

Supporting detail 2 - I prefer staying near the lake


because I adore nature so much. It would be so exciting
because you can hear the sound of the birds chirping
when you wake up early in the morning.

Concluding remark - Living in a house surrounded by


nature nearby the lake definitely will be a dream come
true.
Topic sentence 2 - Besides that, since I love to cook and
bake, having a big kitchen that comes with a quite big
island, complete cooking utensils, and the pantry should
be full of food is a must for my dream home.

Supporting detail 1 - What is more, a house with a big,


fancy kitchen makes me eager to cook and bake every
single day. If I do not own a kitchen just like I have
described, I would probably take away food from
restaurants because I do not have the motivation to cook.

Supporting detail 2 - I will also choose pink and grey to be


painted in all the walls because these are my favorite
colors and it fits the minimalist style.

Concluding remark - To conclude, the most important part


of my dream house is having the most spacious kitchen I
ever have.
Topic sentence 3 - Furthermore, as an independent woman, I have to
maintain a healthy lifestyle and keep my body fit after I have eaten
everything I cooked and baked. To avoid wasting my money on the
gym, it would be better if I own a gym in the house.

Supporting detail 1 - The gym will be on the second floor. The walls
would have something that motivates me, maybe a poster of my role
model.

Supporting detail 2 - The most important thing is that it will have


everything that you need. Inside the gym, there will be so many kinds
of stuffs such as treadmills, dumbbells, training benches, and many
more.

Concluding remark - To sum up, I can use the gym whenever I want
without worrying about spending too much money.
Rephrase thesis statement - People always said to me that simplicity is indeed a beauty, but when it comes to
my dream house, I always wanted the best.

Conclusion - Frankly speaking, it is okay to dream big because it is free for me to dream about having a dream
house. However, the effort from me to make my dream comes true is the most important thing. In conclusion,
never afraid of dreaming because sometimes, dreams lead us to be a successful person.
