Priest: Father, you prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of
your Son. You let her share beforehand in the salvation Christ
would bring by his death, and kept her sinless from the first
moment of her conception. Help us by her prayers to live in your

and sing with Jesus.
After the man, Adam, had eaten of the tree,/ the Lord called to the man and
asked him, “ Where are you.? / He answered,” I heard you in the garden; / but
I was afraid because I was naked, / so I hid myself.” / Then he asked, “ Who
told you were naked ? / You have eaten, then, / from, the tree of which I had
forbidden you to eat.” / The man replied, “ The woman you put here with
me , / she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.” / The Lord God then
asked the woman, / Why did you do such a thing? / The woman answered,
“The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.”
Then the Lord God said to the serpent: / Because you have done this,
you shall be banned/ from all the animals / and from all the wild creatures; /
on your belly shall you crawl, / and dirt shall you eat / all the days of your life.
I will enmity between you and the woman, / while you strike at his heel.”
The man called his wife Eve, / because she became the mother of all
the living.
RESPONSORIAL PSALM
PASASALAMAT SA KALIGTASAN
Brothers and sisters: / Blessed be God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, /
who has blessed us in Christ / with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, / as
he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, / to be holy and
without blemish before him./ In love he destined us for adoption to himself
through Jesus Christ, / in accord with the favor of his will, / for the praise of
the glory of his grace / that he granted us in the beloved.
In him we were also chosen, destined in accord with the purpose of the
One / who accomplishes all things according to the intention of his will, / so
that we might exist for the praise of his glory, / we who first hoped in Christ.
GOSPEL
Priest: The angel Gabriel was sent from God / to a town of Galilee called
Nazareth, / to a virgin betrothed to a man named Joseph, / of the
house of David, / and the virgin’s name was Mary./ And coming to
her, he said, / “ Hail, full of grace ! The Lord is with you. “/ But she
was greatly troubled at what was said / and pondered what sort of
greeting this might be. / Then the angel said to her, / “ Do not be
afraid, Mary , / for you have found favor with God. / Behold, you will
conceive I your womb and bear a son, / and you shall name him
Jesus. / He will be great ad will be called So of the Most High, / and
the Lord God will give him the throne of David his Father, / and he
will rule over the house of Jacob forever, / and of his kingdom there
will be no end.” / But Mary said to the angel, / How this be, / since
I have no relations with a man? / And the angel said to her in reply,/
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, / and the power of the Most High
will over-shadow you. / Therefore the child to be born, will be called
holy, the Son of God. / And behold, Elizabeth, your relative, / has also
conceive a son in her old age, / and this is the sixth month for her
who was called barren; / for nothing will be impossible for God.” /
Mary said, “ Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord./ May it be done t
to me according to your word.” / Then the angel departed from her.

Priest: Blessed be Jesus, whom you sent to be the friend of children and
of the poor. He came to show us how we can love you, Father,
by loving one another. He came to take away sin, which keeps us
from being friends, and hate, which makes us all unhappy. He
promised to send the Holy Spirit to be with us always so that we
live as your children.

Is powerful. He is the Son of God.

change these gifts of bread and wine into the body and blood of
Jesus Christ, our Lord. The night before he died, Jesus your Son
showed us how much you love us. When he was at supper with
his disciples, he took bread, and gave you thanks and praise. Then
he broke the bread, gave it to his friends, and said :
Take this all of you , and eat it: This is my body which will be
given up for you.
Priest: When supper was ended, Jesus took the cup that was filled with
wine. He thanked you, gave it to his friends and said: Take this,
all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of My blood, the
blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you
and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.

Priest: And so, loving Father, we remember that Jesus died and rose
again to save the world. He put himself into our hands to be the
sacrifice we offer you. Lord our God, listen to our prayer. Send the
Holy Spirit to all of us who share in this meal. May this spirit
bring
us who closer together in the family of the Church, with Benedict
XVI, our Pope , John Du our Bishop, and all who serve your people.
Remember Father, our families and friends and all those who do
not love as we should. Remember those who have died. Bring
them home to you to be with you forever. Gather us all together
into your Kingdom. There we shall be happy forever with the Virgin
Mary, Mother of God and our Mother. There all the friends of
Jesus the Lord will praise you with joy.

all glory and honor is yours, Almighty Father, forever and ever.
