WARRANT OF ARREST

TO: ANY OFFICER OF THE LAW:


You hereby commanded to arrest VINCENT A CRUZ, who is said to be
found at 551 Cornelia Street, Puerto Princesa, Palawan or elsewhere in the
Philippines, who have been charged before this Court for the crime of
QUALIFIED THEFT and bring him fortwith before me as soon as possible to be
dealt with according to law.
The bail recommended for the above entitled case/s is Two Hundred
Twenty-two Thousand Pesos (P222, 000.00) for EACH case, which he may
furnish either by depositing the amount with the nearest collector of internal
revenue, or provincial, city or municipal treasure who should transmit the same
to this Court or by furnishing a personal bail subscribed by two or more solvent
sureties whose solvency may be shown by their land tax receipt and certificate
of title free from encumbrances and determined by any judge of Regional Trial
Court, Circuit Judge, City or Municipal Judge who may accept the bail and
transmit the same to this court.

The peace officer making the arrest are hereby authorized to discharge
from the custody the accused after furnishing the bail in the manner herein
above indicated which must be stated in the return thereof.

Respectfully referred to the Station Commander/ Chief of Police, PNP
Station, Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The warrant of Arrest need not be returned
to the Court and shall remain valid and effective, until the accused is arrested.

However, a report thereon shall promptly be made to the Court within ten
(10 days) from your receipt pursuant to section 4 of Rule 113. Otherwise, you
may be subjected to contempt or be administratively charged.

It appearing to the satisfaction of the undersigned after examining under
oath applicant PMAJ Jenhart A Maquepotin, and his witnesses, PSSG Mae
Charisse Aniñon, and Civilian informant Jennifer Sarona, that there is
probable cause to believe that a Violation of RA 10591(COMPRENSIVE
FIREARMS AND AMMUNITION REGULATION ACT) has been committed and
there are good and sufficient reasons to believe that the respondent VINCENT
A CRUZ has in his possession and control One(1) unit of Caliber .45 pistol
which is keeping and concealing in the above-captioned premises.

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED to make an immediate search at 551


Cornelia Street, white house near Laundry Shop, Lumboyan Bacolod City,
Negros Occidental, any time of the day or night of the premises above-
mentioned, and in the attached sketch (Exhibit “I” and “J”) and picture of the
house (Exhibit “K”), and to forthwith seize and take possession if the above-
mentioned items subject of the search and to make a return of the same to the
undersigned to be dealt with the accordance with the law.
