Nobody bears doom better than a man, who has no passion, no skill, no

goals for himself...who is willing to throw away life for his family.

I had seen the man's grandfather buy an unchecked amount of chocolates,

gifts and flowers for his woman.

His talks said all about his colourful personality. He smiled when he
worked, he smiled when he slept, he smiled when he ate.

He smiled when he lived, he smiled when he died...Not much of the smiles

were left for his sons.

He died when his son, the man's father, was 35 years old...the same day
World war 1 had started...

And now, the Second World War had just ended.

"The man" was forced out of homes by his wife. who could no longer bear
children's cries of hunger and pain.

"But they said, all this would end...before...christmas. I do not want to go

through this again"

the hopelessness was explicit, his wife could do nothing but tighten her grip
around his arms as he was about to leave home.

Young girls were bound to take care of babies, while the boys did the
unsettled chores.

His wife worked out in the industries all day and all night.
While the man was far away, in another nation. Working without getting
paid, having 1 meal a day, Sleeping for 3 hours, his home was wherever
he leid down.

Everyone said they loved winters, the fluffy snow...

rain filled them with joy...

summer had "holidays"...

The man never experienced those feelings.

He recalls his childhood, looking back for those emotions, trying to find a
"holiday" in his faint memories

His father had been away from home when he was a kid, Working his ass
off for another nation, not aiding his country by any means.

He always thought of how selfish his father was, working away from home
to get more money for "the family?" He doesn't recall his father ever coming
back.

He had assumed that his father was blinded by the money and had
abandoned them to live his life in luxury while they continued to beg for
bread.

The truth, however, held much more weight than his grief.

...

10 years have passed, the man has collected way more than enough
money.

He can enrol his children in the best school in the country.

He can get his wife the dress she always wanted

He can enjoy a "holiday" with his family, with so much money he could
book a luxurious hotel which had the best view of london. The aged clock
tower will be so clear.

It would be so beautiful.

Finally he will feel the joy of rain, the love in the snow.

he took all his money from the industry owner, And a ticket for the sail
tonight,

He is going home.

All those years he worked so hard for, will pay off now...

He is sitting on a chair on the giant cruise ship that was going to take him
home.

He looks up, the clouds are dark.

every bit of sorrow is about to vanish.

A sudden jerk of a strong wind catches everyone off guard.

His shirt...it's damp, he is not on that chair anymore. Everyone is freezing in

the ice cold water of pacific.

But he felt the water, it was warm.

As warm as an embrace of love, the ocean did love him after all.
