The 2022 accomplishment report of Basak Elementary School summarizes their library activities from January to December. They provide mini libraries in each classroom since a dedicated school library cannot be built due to land litigation issues. 2022 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

January - December
I. INTRODUCTION

Learning these days is not limited to classroom lectures and trainings. It is the
voyage of discovering more that encourages us to learn. School libraries play a vital role
in education system and are essential part of school set-up.
Our Library is an integral contributor to the delivery of academic programs and in
the pursuit of excellence. The library provides readily accessible resources, develops and
offers a learning environment that pursues and creates knowledge. Library strives to
focus its efforts on providing instructional support for teaching, learning and research.
The teachers/librarians of Basak Elementary School adopt the 3Bs initiative which
is “Bawat Bata Bumabasa”. After lunch break we let our pupils learn how to read
especially in the lower grades.

IV. BEST PRACTICES

Even if school library doesn’t exist in our school, we still have mini libraries in
each classroom. The borrowed books are being monitored and documented by the
designate school librarian.

V. CONCERNS, ISSUES, GAPS AND PROBLEMS (CIGPs)

Basak Elementary School is under land litigation that is why we can’t have
additional classroom to build up a library.
