Explanation:

This commercial is about the father and his son having their meal. It is how Lucky Me Pancit
Canton made their meal more appetizing. Before their meal the son told his father that he
didn't eat a lot to their previous meal then his father replied that he didn't have appetite. The
son reminisced that when he was a child his father will always cook Lucky Me Pancit Canton
for him and for his mother. After the Pancit Canton is cooked they had their meal with a great
conversation about how Lucky Me Pancit Canton unite their family.

In this commercial the sender of the message was the son. He asked his father why he didn't
eat a lot. The receiver of the message was his father and when his father received the
message he responded. His feedback was he didn't have appetite. When the son received the
feedback their communication continued.

The way they communicate to each other fits the communication process. Their
communication were deepen because of Lucky Me Pancit Canton, they reminisced their
memories together with their mother. Father and Son conversation is always the best when
having a meal.
2. Suppose you are a film critic and you are asked to submit a short write-up focusing on the
adherence of the actors to the principles of communication as reflected in a film scene. As a
film critic, your goal is to examine the principles portrayed by the director. Select an
excerpt(minutes) from a Filipino film. Afterwards, write a three-paragraph analysis of how well
or poorly the principles of communication are manifested in the selected film excerpt. Use a
separate sheet of paper.

"Pero bakit parang galit ka? Pero bakit kasalanan ko? Eh… sa totoo lang eh ako yung ingot
na inggit sa inyong lahat. Kasi meron kayong mga bagay na sana meron din ako. Sana meron
ako nung maternal instincts mo. I wish I had your charm and innocence.

- Bobbie (Bea Alonzo), Four Sisters in a Weeding

In this scene, Bobbie and her sisters together with her mother and brother are having an
argument about what they feel to each other. When Bobbie delivered these lines her family
stopped and react in different emotions.

The excerpt is clear because the receiver received it clearly. They get what the purpose of the
sender, they understand what the sender wants to convey to her audience. She used a
language that everyone knows. After she talked the audience or the receiver of the message
didn't left wondering. The information communicated was adequate and complete. And
when she is talking she was able to get the attention of her audience and they reacted
different to each other, so they responded differently to the message. The receivers made a
feedback after they received the message.

The line was delivered well. It is clear, it is comprehensive, it has attention and style, and
shows the importance of feedback. The communication process is effective. The characters
portrayed their role very well.
