1. Crankcase RH Joint face:


Application Procedure:

1. Liquid sealant to be used: Loctite 5699


to or copied by anyone without the written approval of RE

2. Components to be assembled within 5 min after dispensing the sealant.

3. After sealant application minimum 30 min curing time to be allowed before engine firing

4. Both Joint face flange surfaces to be cleaned, free from dirt & ensure no oil traces on the matting
faces

5. Profile of 1.5+0.5 mm bead dia to be maintained as shown in image below.

6. Bead application should be uniform at the center of the flange ±0.5 mm, as shown below
7. Bead overlap of Min 5 mm ±1.0 mm length to be maintained at the start & end of the profile.

2. Cylinder head cam bore U shape area:

Application Procedure:

1. Liquid sealant to be used: Loctite 5910


to or copied by anyone without the written approval of RE

2. Before applying the sealant in Cylinder head cambore U shape area, it should free from moisture,
oil and other foreign particles

3. Components to be assembled within 3 min after dispensing the sealant.


4. Sealant applied on cam cover seal U shape area (Sub assembly stage =cam cover + seal) as like
shown in below image

3. Stator coil grommet (U-Shape area):

Application Procedure:

1. Sealant to be used: Loctite Superflex 24


to or copied by anyone without the written approval of RE

2. Before applying sealant, Ensure Cover LH & Stator coil grommet (U-Shape areas) should be free
from dirt, moisture & oil traces

3. Components to be assembled within 5 min after dispensing the sealant.

4. After sealant application minimum 15 min curing time to be allowed before engine firing
5. Sealant to be applied in grommet U-Shape area as shown in image below
